3 Welcome Ladies and Gentlemen, Your 2016 Houston Auto Show ticket gets you access to more rides than ever before! For the past 33 years the Houston Auto Dealers Association has had the advantage of scheduling the first auto show in the state of Texas, therefore providing the first opportunity for Texans to see the latest in automotive innovation. We re proud to have a number of Texas debuts to kick off the year. We re the first to present the 2017 Lotus Evora 400, and are also excited to display brand new vehicles like the Lexus GSF Sport, the 2017 Ford Raptor, the Fiat Abarth and 2017 Hyundai Elantra. This media guide will serve as a resource for you, providing a map of NRG Center, details and information about our Media Preview Party on January 26 th and story ideas for some of this year s newest additions. 4 About the 2016 Houston Auto Show The 2016 Houston Auto Show is Texas first opportunity to see the latest and greatest in automotive innovation, January 27 through January 31, More than 700 of the newest model year import and domestic vehicles, including many Texas debuts, alternative fuel/electric vehicles and concept cars will cover 700,000 square feet of space at NRG Center. Additionally, 16 manufacturers offer an opportunity to test drive more than 70 vehicles all in one place. The 2016 show has grown to include more vehicles than ever before with brand new vehicles from manufactures as well as seldom seen classics. Camp Jeep will inaugurate the first use of a dirt track and Ram returns with their Ride and Drive Interactive Test Track. A live social media wall will be activated to enhance engagement at the show and manufacturers are bring out fantastic displays. The Houston Automobile Dealers Association (HADA) produces the Houston Auto Show in support of local auto dealers. HADA is comprised of approximately 170 franchised new car and truck dealers employing over 30,000 people in the Houston area alone. By providing educational seminars and workshops, legislative representation, community service programs and services designed to assist franchised new car and truck dealers, HADA is committed to promoting and maintaining a competitive automotive industry in Houston. 4

6 NEW in 2016: Media Tower on the Show Floor In lieu of a media room off site, credentialed media will have access to the new VIP/Media Tower on the Show floor. The Tower is a new addition to the show and should be a great place to work and be entertained. Everyday we'll serve water and light refreshments as well as beer and wine during happy hour - Wed. to Sat. from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. There is also a spectacular viewing deck to get a full overview of the show. Your media pass will serve as your proof for entry. Please stop by the show office, room 107, between entrances B and C, to receive an entry wristband for guests. Also located at the Media Lounge is a live Social Media Wall featuring posts from Facebook, Twitter and Instagram. Use the hashtag to be seen on the wall. 6

More than 700 of the newest model year import and domestic vehicles, including many Texas debuts, alternative fuel/electric vehicles and concept cars will cover 700,000 square feet of space at NRG Center. More than 15 manufacturers offer an opportunity to test drive more than 70 vehicles right while you re at the show. Many of them even offer fun incentives like gift cards and giveaway items. An enhanced 2016 Interactive Aftermarket exhibit expands to both ends of NRG Center this year providing even more engaging exhibitors. More than 700 of the newest model year import and domestic vehicles, concept cars and even classics, along with extreme dirt road kings, modified vehicles and ultra-luxuries, will all be on display, covering the entire 700,000 square feet of NRG Center, in a truly Texas-sized event. The Houston Auto Show, produced by the Houston Automobile Dealers Association and presented by the Houston Chronicle, features 37 vehicle manufacturers and offers an opportunity to test drive more than 70 vehicles all in one location. Manufacturer participants include; Acura, Alfa Romeo, Aston Martin, Audi, BMW, Buick, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, GMC, Honda, Hyundai, Infiniti, Jaguar, JEEP, Kia, Land Rover, Lamborghini, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus, Mazda, Maserati, Mercedes Benz, MINI, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Ram, Toyota, Scion, Subaru, Volkswagen and Volvo. The newest additions for the 2016 show include a modified Camp Jeep with a dirt track, an interactive social media wall and more aftermarket vendors than ever before. This year s entrance includes an Extreme Off-Road Parkway, featuring vehicles with specialty adaptations. 11 The Aftermarket Expo of the Houston Auto Show includes everything from the exotic to the extreme, from ultra-luxury to off-road and everything in between. New to the aftermarket areas this year is Canada s Campagna Motors, the world leader in three-wheel motorcycles and the creators of the T-Rex. EVS Motors, who cater to the most discriminating auto enthusiasts, will once again display one-of-a-kind dream cars fresh from their Performance Studio. MSR Houston returns with new partner, Fittipaldi Exotic Driving. Sports Car Club of America will display a Formula Mazda racecar and Allout Off-road will present a half million-dollar H1 Hummer on tracks. For true admirers of automation, the Houston Auto Show will also exhibit more than 75 classic vehicles throughout the lobby of NRG Center and in a specialty section called Seldom Seen Classics. This area includes rare finds such as the 1954 Kaiser Darrin, a 1957 Oldsmobile J2 and even a fully restored 1927 Model T barn find.
