1 Options for Remote Working If you only need to access your s when working from home and do not require access to trust applications or any documents within the network drives you do not require a Safenet Token. You can either access your on webmail via or you can connect via Outlook 2013 on your trust laptop/tablet as long as you have an internet connection. If you do require access to trust applications or your network drives please follow the below instructions and choose between option a or b. Please note, that if your requirement is due to the Corona Virus your Department Managers have been asked to raise a BLOCK request for your Department on 1 single Service Desk Ticket 1.) Remote access must be requested by your line manager on the IT Service Centre using the Remote access for Windows 10 users form. 2.) Install the SafeNet MobilePASS app onto your smart phone. This can be downloaded from your device s App Store. 3.) When the SafeNet administrator creates a new token for your account you will receive an automated from the SafeNet service with instructions on how to activate your token. Your new token is valid for seven days, so please complete your enrolment within this time. For any assistance setting up your token please call the DT&I Service Desk on Once you have enrolled your token you can now access your work documents, trust and most applications via two options: a) GSTT Connect (also known as Citrix) - this method does not require a trust device to log in to your workspace. You can log in to GSTT Connect using your home PC or Mac by opening up your browser and following this link: If you do not have Citrix Receiver Software installed on your device, it will ask you to install this on first use. Citrix is a well-established secure application so you should not experience any problems. However, if you are concerned about any of the pop up requests, please make a note of the details and call the DT&I Service Desk. Once Citrix Receiver has been installed, relaunch your browser and go back to Once on this website, it will ask you for a Username, Password 1 & Password 2. Username and Password 1 are the standard credentials you log in to the GSTT environment with. To obtain Password 2 you need to open the Safenet application and

2 enter your token PIN into your phone. This will generate a 6 digit code which will remain valid for 10 seconds. This 6 digit code is Password 2. Once you are logged on to GSTT Connect you will see a host of applications available to you. b) GSTT idesk (also known as Cisco AnyConnect) this method does require you to log in via a Trust Laptop/Tablet. Once logged in to your trust device remotely, you need to ensure you have an internet connection available to you, and connect to this via the following icon Once connected to the WiFi you then need to connect to Cisco AnyConnect through one of the two following methods: i) Using the Magnifying Glass at the bottom left and typing Cisco AnyConnect ii) Searching for the Cisco AnyConnect icon on the toolbar at the bottom

3 Clicking on this icon will load up an option to connect to GSTT idesk press Connect. On the next prompt select GSTT-RAS for the Group and enter your trust Username and Password in the top 2 boxes. In the 3 rd box, often labelled second password you need to open the Safenet application and enter your token PIN into your phone. This will generate a 6 digit code which will remain valid for 10 seconds. This 6 digit code is the second password.
