Message from the Chairman Bishop K. D. Collins On this 15 th year of Harvest Army International Seminary we return to the earlier more academic emphasis which had at least 18 accelerated courses equivalent to an Associate Degree. The courses for Bachelors Degree will prepare the student for leadership up to the mega-ministry level. Here is good news for those already having a Bachelors degree. In the Spring Semester of 2010 we begin our Master s degree program. Stay abreast for more information. It is not sufficient just to be a mighty praying and preaching believer. Biblical seminary learning is necessary according to the Bible. God called prophets into schools at Gibeah and Naioth where they were tutored by Samuel (1Sam.10:10, 19:20. Later there was a school of 100 prophets that were hidden by Obadiah from being executed by Jezebel (1Kg.18:4). A resident college existed in Gilgal (2Kgs.4:38-44). It was built by the students of the prophet Elijah of which he was the Tutor (2Kgs.6:1-4) The fact that these schools and colleges were led by mighty men of God who operated fully in the supernatural is a testimony of the need for training despite our ardent prayer and preaching life. Therefore the emphasis of this college is to bring to bear all the aspects of spiritual learning to support the supernatural mandate for world revival. Bishop K.D. Collins: MA, D.Min, DD Chairman 2

Message from the President Since 1996, the Harvest Army International Seminary has been training men and women of God to unleash the fullness of God s call on their lives. With the new name, the vision of the Harvest Army International Seminary comes into greater focus: equipping believers for world revival. The international aspect of the name shows the intention of the vision to train believers from all across the world and to prepare believers to minister globally. The seminary aspect of the name shows our goal to equip believers for any level of ministry from local lay leadership to being world leading catalysts of revival. There is something at Harvest Army International Seminary for every believer. Our traditional certificate, and diploma programs continue six to twelve intensive courses ideal for those seeking foundational training in local ministry leadership. But there is more. Our associate diploma, and undergraduate diploma programs will continue to prepare you for greater realms of ministry. Furthermore, in this academic year we are introducing our Prophetic Studies program. This academic track is designed to prepare you to operate in the prophetic mantle that God has released for world revival. The prophetic studies track are a blend of biblical, theological, and ministry courses that will enable you to operate effectively in prophetic ministry. Sign up today for the upcoming semester. Overseer Omaudi D. Reid, M.S. Acting President 3

History and Background Harvest Army International Seminary is an institute of higher learning that for over ten years has prepared dedicated Christian leaders. Harvest Army International Seminary first began in 1996 bearing the name Harvest Army Institute of Ministry. It was established to train and equip the growing number of members and friends of the Harvest Army Church International who were responding to the call of God to ministry. The school began with over twenty students, and included a certificate and a diploma program. Again, in 2010 the name was changed to Harvest Army International Seminary to reflect the vision of Equipping Believers for World Revival and due to the addition of a master s level program. Since that time the Harvest Army Institute of Ministry began a distance learning program which many has participated in both in the United States and across the world. The courses have been instrumental in preparing men and women of God to lead effectively in the ministry. Alumni of the institute are actively in ministry in various capacities as pastors, ordained ministers, evangelists, and missionaries. 4

Beginning in 2006, the program of the Harvest Army Institute of Ministry was extended, and the name was changed to Harvest Army Bible College. With continued expansion, in 2010 the name was changed from Harvest Army Bible College to Harvest Army International Seminary. With the new name, the vision of the Harvest Army International Seminary comes into greater focus: equipping believers for world revival. The international aspect of the name shows the intention of the vision to train believers from all across the world and to prepare believers for any level of ministry from local lay leadership to being world leading catalysts of revival. The program still includes a certificate and diploma program, but has also added an associate diploma, undergraduate and advanced program. International Reach The campus of the Harvest Army International Seminary is currently located in New York City, USA. However, ministers have been trained through our correspondence courses in the Caribbean and Europe. Furthermore, those who have been trained through HAIS have conducted ministry in various countries across the world. Our focus is to equip believers for world revival. Purpose Harvest Army International Seminary was birthed out of the Harvest Army Church International. The Harvest Army Church was founded upon the God given vision of an army of harvesters for world revival, calling for every believer to become effective witnesses and preachers of the gospel of Jesus Christ. Through the ministry, thousands of believers have begun to become effective witnesses and street preachers. Furthermore, many have planted churches, and are leading powerful ministries. The Harvest Army International Seminary (HAIS) was established in an effort to further equip men and women of God for effective ministry. We are an interdenominational evangelistic institution, pledged to uphold, and expound the Bible as the inspired word of God. We endeavor to prepare ministers to conduct bible based ministries though the power of God by confronting the issues of today s society, and the challenges that face the church. 5

Non-Denominational HAIS is a non-denominational institution. We welcome all born again believers from all denominations and backgrounds. All theological teachings, core values and statement of faith are based on the clear teaching of scripture which applied to all believers. Mission and Vision The mission of HAIS is to train and equip men and women of God for impactful ministry, and dedicated service in today s society. The word ministers in this context include all believers who have answered the call of God. Our vision is to: 1. Provide a wholesome foundation in biblical doctrine that will prepare ministers to effectively proclaim and defend the Christian faith. 2. Equip and train ministers to plant and lead ministries that are centered upon God s mandate for the current time, thereby being catalysts for world revival. 3. Prepare and produce Christian leaders that demonstrate integrity and spiritual authority in their personal lives and ministry, in the midst of growing ethical issues that challenges the church. 4. To prepare Christian leaders to be effective in representing Christ in all aspects of society. Scriptural Foundation Mathew 28:19 20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. 2 Timothy 2:2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also. 2 Timothy 2:15 Study to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth. 6

Recognition and Accreditation Harvest Army International Seminary (HAIS) operates legally under the charter of Harvest Army Church International, a USA federally-internationally chartered and tax exempt church body. The seminary is presently being upgraded to the highest level of accreditation as a post-secondary, ministerial institution. We are recognized by many churches and ministries worldwide who have benefited from our training. 7

Statement of Faith We believe: 1) In the verbal inspiration of the Bible. 2) In one God eternally existing three persons: namely, the Father, Son, and Holy Ghost. 3) That Jesus Christ is the only begotten Son of the Father, conceived of the Holy Ghost and born of the Virgin Mary. That Jesus was crucified, buried, and raised from the dead that He ascended to heaven, and is today at the right hand of the Father as the intercessor. 4) That all have sinned and come short of the glory of God, and that repentance is commanded of God for all and necessary for forgiveness of sin. 5) That justification, regeneration and the new birth are wrought by faith in the blood of Jesus Christ. 6) In sanctification subsequent to the new birth through faith in the blood of Christ through the Word and by the Holy Ghost. 7) Holiness to be God s standard of living for His people. 8) In baptism of the Holy Ghost subsequent to a clean heart. 9) In speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance, and that this is the initial evidence of the baptism of the Holy Ghost. 10) In water baptism by immersion for all who repent. 11) In divine healing, which is provided for all in the atonement. 12) In the Lord s Supper and washing of the saint s feet. 13) In the premillennial Second Coming of Jesus Christ. First to resurrect the righteous dead, and to catch away the living saints to Him in the air. Second to reign on the earth a thousand years. 14) In the bodily resurrection, eternal life for the righteous, and eternal punishment for the wicked. 8
