The systems administrator will Ensure correct systems access for users Provide training and training materials Raise and resolve system issues, working with IT where necessary Ensure up to date reference data in the systems Support HR reporting requirements Provide first line user support for all HR Systems

2 Main Activities and Responsibilities People Management / Coaching / Development / Resourcing Training facilitates and delivers the training for all HR and business users in the correct use of HR Systems Training Coordinates and delivers refresher end user training program. Training creates and updates supporting documentation for all end users, inclusive of system enhancements and upgrades. Training conducts post training evaluation to measure the effectiveness of training programs. Budget Management / Financial Responsibilities / Revenue / Sales / Cost Management / Cost Control Ensures correct security protocols are maintained for access to all HR systems Customer Responsibilities (Internal & External Customers) Responds to end user queries and where necessary documents issues for escalation to IT or HR Systems Analyst. Works with IT to log and research end-user reported problems Participates in the testing of all new additions to the system to ensure a smooth transition on implementation (i.e. System Upgrades, Enhancements) Assists in post-implementation monitoring and testing of new releases to ensure the enhancement is functioning as expected Required to update System user documentation to reflect new attributes and enhancements to the system. Analyses data quality of information in the database and advises users for correction or training Technical (including systems) and/or Professional Responsibilities Aligns Maps with the Fleet Training Matrices to requisite Jobs and Ranks. Updates the system to meet all Competence, Training and Documentation reporting requirements.

3 Maintains the reference data in all systems including, MAPS complements in each ship in accordance with operational changes. Provides user system support for business users ship and shore. Ensures all end-user issues are logged in Remedy Liaison with IT and/or Vendor as necessary to resolve all issues to a satisfactory conclusion. Responsible for the creation and maintenance of all user manuals. Administration Responsibilities Maintains user i.d. listing and access rights in accordance with security protocols. Makes manual amendments to Ship itineraries ensuring they are completed on a regular basis. Ensures all reference data is accurate and up to date Documents requests for system changes Other Responsibilities Works with the vendor, all levels of users, contract programmers, third parties and IT department on the same or related projects Facilitates scheduled and ad hoc reporting requirements HESS Responsibilities Lead by example by taking care of the health and safety of yourself and others Report all accidents, near miss incidents and work related ill health conditions to your manager and to the Facilities department. Follow safety rules and procedures Use work equipment, personal protective equipment, substances, and safety devices correctly Take part in safety training & risk assessments and suggest ways of reducing risks. Act safely in accordance with our Elev8 safety behaviours General Responsibilities Adheres to Corporate Policies and Procedures, including Code of Conduct, Audit Procedures and any control related responsibility for financial data entered, stored, or reported via business systems within employees control (list not exhaustive). 5 Person Specification Job Title : HR Systems Administrator Department : HR Systems, HR Services Education, Qualifications and Training Essential: Excellent understanding of HR Databases Proficient in advanced use of computer business applications utilising Microsoft Office. Experience of delivering training, preferably in I.T. systems. 1 years related experience with large system applications. Use of Business Intelligence reporting tools Educated to A Level standard. Experience of preparing supporting training materials (e.g. Manuals). Sound understanding of HR issues. Experience of Maps or Scheduling tools Experience of Oracle HRMS Experience of Business Objects Knowledge of SQL Experience of call logging systems Experience Essential: Experience of providing support with an I.T. System. Understanding of HR Operations. Confident in delivering training sessions to colleagues. Experience of working with all levels of employees in a diverse workforce. Working knowledge of Cruise Ship environments ashore and onboard.

6 Proven experience of problem solving. Ability to analyse situations and offer solutions to resolve issues. Proactive approach to work. Teamwork self motivated team player with ability to work with minimum supervision. Analytical strong eye for detail. Computer Literate Strong IT knowledge with experience in collating data. Problem Solving can offer an innovative approach to overcoming issues. Procedural ability to develop and publish system protocols and procedures.
