3 Standard Operational Procedures (SOP s) to be followed by the Candidates / Institutes / University for admissions to two programs / course simultaneously in the University of Mumbai: 1) The candidate who desires to take admission for some program / course at first institute / department has to submit his / her all original certificates & fill in the enrollment / registration form and pay the tuition and other fees for confirming his provisional admission. 2) If the same candidate desires to take admission at some other institute for some other program / course, he / she should inform the Principal / Head / Director / Dean / of the first college / Institute / Department by writing an application asking for No Objection Certificate for taking admission to the other program / course at some other College / Institute / Department in the University of Mumbai as per the format enclosed herewith (FORM - I). 3) Principal / Head / Director / Dean / of the first college / Institute / Department issues No Objection Certificate as per the format enclosed herewith (FORM -II) as also the attested copies of the Certificates to the candidate for seeking admission to the other program / course at some other college / institute / department of the University of Mumbai. 4) The candidate submits undertaking in the form of an affidavit duly notarized to the Principal / Head /Director / Dean of the first college / Department / Institutes as per the format enclosed herewith (Form-III) and the photocopy of the same to the other college. 5) The Principal / Head / Director / Dean of the second College / Department/ Institute can admit the candidate by verifying his eligibility and based on No Objection Certificate issued by the Principal /Head/ Director /Dean of first College /Department /Institute and the copies of certificates attested by the Principal /Head/ Director /Dean of first College /Department /Institute where the candidate has taken admission by paying the fees and given undertaking as per format (Form-III). 6) The Principal /Head/ Director /Dean of the College /Department /Institute should write a letter addressed to the first College / Institute / Department, that the said candidate has taken admission at his college /Institute / Department specifying the program / course with a copy to candidate as per the format enclosed herewith (FORM - IV).

4 7) The Principal / Head /Director / Dean of both the colleges / Departments /Institutes should submit the Eligibility / Enrollment / Registration forms along with attested copies of the certificates and Undertaking of such candidates separately along with the details of their admission in both institutes in Tabular form as below: Sr. Name of Name of first Name of program Name of second Name of No. Candidate institute / / course in first institute / additional Department college Department program / course 1 2 etc. 8) A student on successfully completion of or discontinuation by cancelling the admission of the program / course in the first institute / department if desires to join yet another program / course while continuing his second program shall repeat the procedure prescribed herein above, whereby his original institute / department shall be deemed to be first institute /department, thus enabling institute of new course /program to be joined the status of second program thereafter.

He has submitted all original certificates required for admission (may write here names of certificates), enrollment form, paid required tuition & other fees and undertaking as per Form-III. I / We have no objection, if the candidate seeks admission to some other additional course, where he is eligible and will maintain attendance as per Ordinances 119, 120, 125 of University of Mumbai for both the program / courses.
