The Corporate PMO is a new organization within MMM and as Intermediate Project manager I am responsible for a range of projects which IT either own or represent a major stakeholder. The methodology was designed and implemented to be compliant with both PMI's PMBOK 5th Edition and COBIT 4.1 standards. Using both waterfall and agile methodologies. In this Intermediate Project Management role in the PMO, I am responsible for a portfolio of projects including business applications, technologies and departments across the MMM Group. Projects included.net applications ($265,000 Budget), COBIT 4.1 (IT Governance) & applications that make up the enterprise project management information system (PMIS) such as the MMM Portfolio Dashboard and reporting tool and a pilot of Microsoft Project Server 2013 Online. (2.3 Million dollar budget). for the Improve project management capabilities corporate strategic initiative with a budget of 2.3 Million dollars. This was a very high profile companywide initiative spanning multiple years in length. Ensure projects are planned and executed in compliance with the MMM IT PMO methodology. Develop and maintain all project artifacts as required by the methodology. Facilitate the definition of project missions, goals, tasks, and resource requirements and resolve or assist in the resolution of conflicts within and between projects or functional areas. Manage project budget and resource allocation. Actively manage assigned projects through meetings, written and verbal communications. Report on all projects in the prescribed manner to identify activities, progress, risks and milestones. Facilitate the definition of service levels and customer requirements. Interact regularly with existing or potential clients to determine their needs and to develop plans for improving deliver.
