2 growing your food experience Our purpose built Electrolux kitchen holds hands on cooking classes which cater to a variety of abilities. The classes run Tuesday- Saturdays. You may choose to do one class or as many as you like. Themes range from Spanish, Thai or BBQ to name but a few. Classes vary in length from 2 to 3.5 hours. They include a meal at the end and complimentary wine. All you will need to bring is an apron. Ask about our private classes for your next team building event, hens, bucks party or social gathering. Groups may be accommodated from 8-40 students and are BYO. What classes are available? Classes are released 4 times a year and reflect the different seasons. Many classes are repeated in addition to new classes being introduced all the time. See the website which is updated regularly with classes that are booked out and new releases. Don t forget to subscribe to the newsletter to be the first to see the schedule as well as being notified of new and discounted classes. How much will it cost? All prices are listed on the class schedule and vary depending on length and produce used. Student adult - which includes the class, meal, wine and recipes. Student concession - Student 17yrs and under. Dinner guest- where a partner or friend of the student arrives at about 8.00pm or towards the end of the class to enjoy the meal and wine only. Vouchers Vouchers are available for that special birthday or thank you present. They may be purchased online or over the phone with a credit card. An open voucher for the cooking school may be bought for any amount ( covers all classes). It is important that the voucher holder subscribes to the newsletter. Vouchers may be redeemed online with the voucher code, (if bought instore or over the phone, the voucher cannot be redeemed online.) Vouchers are valid for 12 months. How do I book and pay? Bookings will be taken online at com.au. If you have a website voucher, you may redeem it online, otherwise you will need to phone or us. All we need is the name on the voucher, or order number and your mobile number. Private Classes 3seeds can organise that next hen s, bucks party or corporate event for a team-building day. With a min of 8 people you can design a menu to suit your budget and skills. Whether it is a tapas or canapé class to a full 3 course dinner party, we will ensure that not only will you pick up some new skills, but will have a lot of fun along the way. Prices range from $70-$140pp and can be organised during the day or evening. Don t forget your partners may join you at the end for the meal you have prepared. BYO. Why do I need to subscribe to the newsletter? Our newsletter is sent out regularly to keep you up to date on extra classes, special deals and important events. Most importantly you will receive the new cooking school schedules as soon as they are released and as many people have discovered, these classes don t take long to book out. Wed 8th Pasta 3 Ways Prawn Ravioli with a burnt sage butter, Pappardelle with a pork & veal ragout & Black angel hair with scallops. Thu 9th Middle Eastern Discover the exotic spices blends behind Middle Eastern food where you will make `dukkah, Ras el hanout & Za atar. You will make Turkish ravioli in a crab & saffron broth, Moroccan chicken & fruit tagine and a rosewater apple & rhubarb compote with an almond crumble. Sat 11th Winter Desserts Chocolate hazelnut & caramel tart, pear souffle & Ricotta fritters with blackberry sauce & chocolate soil. $135 $105 Wed 15th Duck & Pinot Duck breast in a coriander crepe, Duck confit with cauliflower puree, Roasted potatoes in duck fat with caramel & prunes all matched with pinot noir Sat 18th Thai me up Recreate the fresh flavours of Thailand with a variety of spice mixes. Start with a Fragrant broth with prawns followed by a Red curry of duck & a Green fish curry. Tue 21st French Tartlet of prawn with cream & pernod, Fillet of beef with a bordelaise sauce & Chocolate souffle to finish Wed 22nd Spanish Dinner Chicken & chorizo paella, Ling fillets baked in wine, saffron & sherry, potato tortilla & finish with a Pear tart with sherry syrup. Sat 25th Perfecting Pastry Butter puff for an apple tart tatin, Sweet shortcrust for a lemon curd tart & Sour cream shortrust for a caramelised onion & gruyere tart. $135 $105 Wed 29th Warming Winter Pies Make your own pastry for the following fillings: A rich winter Fish pie, classic Chicken, leek & white wine & Oxtail & beetroot pie all washed down with a glass or two of warming red wine. Thu 30th New Age Jerusalem Quails with burnt miso butterscotch, pomegranate & pistachio salsa, Hummus lamb with a lemon sauce & Walnut & fruit crumble cream.

Thu 28th July Salmon 3 Ways Champagne poached salmon, Pan seared with a fresh herb & macadamia crust & a Fragrant ginger wine, coconut & green Thai curry of salmon with mango relish. Sat 30th July 1-4pm Truffle Workshop 3seeds will have a range of local truffles for you to purchase. Once you have selected your truffle, you will use this to make your own truffle butter, truffle cream, truffled brie & truffled chicken breast (vac packed & ready to take home). At the end you will sit down to lunch of truffled veal & cauliflower puree. $160 $40 Sun 31st July 11-1pm 3seeds 3 Course Truffle Brunch This is a 3 course truffle brunch banquet. Watch Andrew in action in the open kitchen while he whips up 1. Truffled scrambled eggs with seared winter greens. 2.Truffled brioche filled with a sherry poached pear. 3. Truffle marinated mushrooms with candied lemon & wild rocket. $85

This time slot may also be used if you have a group of 6 or more friends, (not quite enough for a private class) to do a class of your choice. We will then fill up the remaining places with other students. Thu 4th Winter Warmers Crispy skin pork belly with caramelised mushrooms, Slow cooked lamb shank with sweet potato mash & Sticky prune pudding with spiced caramel sauce. Sat 6th 3 course Italian Truffles Gnocchi with a truffled sage butter. Truffle scented hand made cannelloni with goats curd, morels and a cauliflower truffle cream sauce, Chocolate truffle truffle. Sun 7th 11-2pm 9th & 10th Sat 13th May 1-4pm Techniques Andrew will spend time one on one to hone your knife skills, including how to peel an onion without crying. You will also fill a chicken breast, pan sear then bake it. This class will be full of small tips to give you confidence in the kitchen, where you can start to learn the fundamentals behind creating simple and flavoursome dishes. $135 $105 16th & 17th Sat 20th Spanish Tapas Prawns Romesco, Pork belly with caramelised mushrooms, Spinach & goats cheese croquettes, Squid meatballs with saffron & almond sauce. 23rd & 24th Sat 27th Vegetarian Cheese souffle with a sticky tomato & saffron jam, mushrooms filled with a macadamia nut pate & a creamy polenta & chermoula eggplant with bulgar & yoghurt & dessert of a rich chocolate & cardamon tart with Turkish delight jewels.. This schedule is subject to change and we reserve the right to cancel classes, but is updated on the web site along with extra classes and availability. Cancellation policy: Payment in full is required to secure your place. No refunds will be given. With a min of 14 days notice a place in another class may be arranged subject to availability, this also applies to voucher holders. Under certain circumstances, credit may be given with less than 14 days notice, but a $50pp charge will be applied.
