2 Air Systems Foundation, Inc. ELIGIBILITY GUIDELINES Scholarships awarded range from $500 to $2, for students attending a four-year college and/or a two-year college. Scholarships are available to Air Systems employee sibling, high school seniors currently residing in Santa Clara County and accepted into college, or past recipients currently enrolled in college. The Air Systems Foundation, Inc., is an equal opportunity non-profit organization and encourages applications from all individuals who meet the eligibility requirements. Requirements: Applicant is responsible for insuring all items below are SENT TO THE AIR SYSTEMS FOUNDATION, INC. P.O.BOX SAN JOSE CA Incomplete/late applications and non-official transcripts will not be considered. 1. Completed Application 2. Academic recommendation from at least (3) teachers and (1) counselor from current school. 3. Official transcript of grades for last (3) quarters/semesters. 4. A copy of SAT or ACT scores (1 ST time four-year college applicants only) 5. An essay addressing at least one of the following questions: How can I make a difference in my family and community? Where do I see myself in ten years and what are my goals? Why do I deserve this scholarship? What do I consider the biggest challenge facing the youth of today and how can I influence change? Essay is to be typed, double-spaced, at least (2) pages, but no more than (5). 6. Provide a photo that represents you and your personality and sign enclosed model release. Awards: 1. All applications will be reviewed and finalists will be selected and notified by (call Foundation office at ext.14 for current deadlines). 2. Finalists should expect to be interviewed in person by the Air Systems Foundation Inc., Scholarship Committee. 3. Checks will be sent directly to the winner s administration office of their college or university unless other terms have been agreed upon.
