2 Student Assistant: Online communications and website support UCI Environment Institute The Environment Institute is preparing to launch a new online presence. The website features a real-time events calendar. The student assistant will keep the events calendar current. This task will require research and an eagerness to stay abreast of current events. The website features an interactive tool for environment and sustainability-related research, academic programs, and co-curricular activities. The student assistant will research and write summaries of certain academic offerings to highlight on the website in conjunction with this tool. The online presence includes social media. In coordination with staff, the student assistant will regularly post relevant event announcements to our Facebook page and develop an on-line and offline strategy to increase readership of the Facebook page, other social media, and the website. The student assistant will also assist staff with graphic design and other administrative tasks as needed. Hours Per Week: Administrative, Computer, Graphic Arts, IT Consulting, Web Development academic year up to 19 hours/week $8.57/hour Willingness to learn. Initiative. Campus Organizations Resources and Education (CORE) is a student-run program that works with SLL to provide information, meeting space, and services to registered campus organizations (RCOs). CORE Accounts is a web and hosting service provided through CORE. The CORE Accounts Manager (CORE Consultant - Technology) is responsible for managing user accounts, providing technical support via , office hours, advising officers, publicity chairs, and web managers on website design and specific technologies (e.g. Dreamweaver, social media, Wordpress), leading workshops and/or helping SLL staff with events, assisting with software installation/device configuration, and maintaining official mailing lists, Wiki documentation, and other materials. Other duties may also be assigned. CORE Technology is a team effort. There are two Account Managers who work with other SLL/UCI student staff and professional staff. Duties will include both individual and group work. A student s work schedule can be adjusted for classes but regular weekly hours are required (at least 3 days per

Fall Intramural Sports Official UCI-Campus Recreation Hours Per Week: Intramural Sports Officials must be able to implement Intramural Sports policies and playing rules in order to maintain an appropriate level of control, fairness, and safety. Training is provided at no cost. Officiating Intramural Sports is a fun job with flexible hours. Fall Sports include volleyball, arena soccer, basketball and flag football. Attendance at all training sessions is mandatory. Exercise Science, Health & Wellness, Other Successful applicants have an interest and/or experience with competitive or recreational sports. Current knowledge of or ability to learn and enforce game rules. Officials should be able to maintain control of the games and stand behind their calls in high pressure situations. Programs and Events Assistant UCI-Alumni Association General Office: Assist the UCI Alumni Association programs team with special projects and other assignments such as mailings, data entry, photocopying, filing, and answering phones. Execute on-going request processes regarding our travel and house rental programs. Assist in proofing and editing marketing pieces for programs and events. Volunteer Relations: Assist staff in overseeing UCI Alumni Association board of directors and committee needs that include scheduling rooms, making parking arrangements, ordering catering, creating name place cards and/or nametags, ordering or setting up meeting room with supplies, arranging room set up, data entry and database record updating.

8 Programs: Assist in UCIAA key programs and events such as Scholarship, Alumni Chapters & Clubs, Dinners for 12 Anteaters, Lauds and Laurels, Wayzgoose, Cap & Gown, etc. This includes but is not limited to preparing materials, staffing events, obtaining guest information, compiling attendance data, and assisting with money transactions for purchases. Assist in addressing constituent questions over the phone and in person regarding UCIAA programs, policies and membership. Responsibilities may include participation in brainstorming sessions regarding student programs. Other duties as assigned. Administrative Academic Year Hours Per Week: 10 $8.25 hourly Undergraduate student able to fulfill required duties with potential flexibility to work occasional nights and weekends for events. Programs Student Assistant UCI-Paul Merage School of Business The Programs Student Assistant will provide support in implementing various evens and program initiatives for the Paul Merage School of Business MBA students, corporate professionals, community leaders, Merage staff and faculty. Will help with the logistics and the implementation of the Distinguished Speaker Series, the Executive Mentoring Program events, and the Social Responsibility Initiative. 10 Notetaker UCI-Disability Services Center Position Type: The Disability Services Center s mission is to empower students to reach their potential in every aspect of their lives (physically, emotionally, intellectually, behaviorally, and socially). As a notetaker you will have the opportunity to help a fellow undergraduate students registered with the Disability Services Center. You will be responsible for taking notes in class and ing them to the student you are assigned to for a particular class. (Notetakers only take/provide notes for classes they are already enrolled in, it does not require you to attend extra classes outside the ones you are enrolled in.) Notetakers must attend class regularly, take thorough and organized notes, be sensitive to confidentiality, timely and personable. As a notetaker you may be compensated in one of three ways: $25/unit stipend, community service hours or 1.3 pass/no pass units.
