If this does happen it will only be by one person and f a very limited period. These discounted courses are our most economical course options and are extremely flexible. 6 Standard Classes Our standard General English course allows you to improve all areas of your English: grammar, vocabulary, speaking, listening, pronunciation, reading and writing. This course is designed to give you three afternoons free so that you can spend time expling London, do self-study in the Study Centre spend time in the garden relaxing and socialising with the other students. You will study every mning and then, depending on your level, you will study on either Monday and Wednesday afternoons Tuesday and Thursday afternoons. Friday afternoons are free f everyone. Beginners The Beginners course will help you develop your basic English language skills and build your confidence when communicating in English. BENEFITS Learn the basic structures of English. This course will not only develop your English language skills within a legal context, but will also prepare you f the Cambridge International Legal English examination. The examination is recognised by the European Company Lawyers Association, the European Law Students Association, the International Association of Young Lawyers and the European Young Bar Association. In this way, detailed requirements can be fully met, with a course being tailed specifically f students needs. Courses will be designed based on input from the students themselves in the fm of a needs analysis, which is carried out befe the beginning of the course. This means that specific skills, such as giving presentations, can be given me focus as required. As the course progresses, it can be adapted to match students development and changing requirements. During the course, students will be given the opptunity to express their knowledge and expertise in their chosen field in an English Language context, and will be encouraged to bring to the sessions any current projects they may be wking on. 10 General Groups at WSE At Wimbledon School of English we are delighted to welcome groups of students from any country in the wld. Students can either study in our international classes wk in a closed group, studying together to meet a specific need. Group members joining international classes follow our standard intensive timetable and have the benefit of wking with students from many different countries. They will be assessed on arrival in the same way as all other students and placed into a class accding to their level. If there is a specific language goal, then students can wk in a closed group. This is especially useful f groups wishing to study f less commonly taken examinations such as PET KET, who want to take other exams but are unable to commit to the set times f these courses. Closed groups do not need to follow the standard timetable; f example, a group can study mnings only and be free in the afternoons to do other activities. In closed groups, the school can also accommodate younger students 15 year olds are welcome. We can arrange f your group to be met by a member of our staff at your arrival airpt and transferred to WSE, and from there to your accommodation. At the end of your course you can be accompanied back to the airpt. Whether yours is a closed group one going into international classes, all group members are encouraged to join other students taking part in the school social programme, which has many free activities as well as ganised trips to the theatre and places of interest in the south of England. The school wks together with a specialised, highly experienced agency to arrange the programme. Some homestay providers are not of English igin but all speak English to native speaker standard. We try to match students with homestays and to find the right homestay f everyone.
