2 *** ABOUT PROSPECT CAMP The University of Toledo Baseball Prospect Camp is for players who will be graduating from high school in 2009 or The camp is designed to give advanced baseball players a chance to develop their talents in both instructional and game settings. Campers will participate in batting practice, the 60 yard dash, instructional sessions on pitching, catching, fielding, and hitting, and a scrimmage. Campers will be instructed and evaluated by The University of Toledo Baseball Staff and Players. Several other college coaches will be on staff. Camp Schedule: 8:00-9:00 Check-in 9:00-9:30 Intro and Warm-up 9:30-11:30 Batting Practice/60 yard dash 11:30-12:15 Lunch Group 1 12:15-12:45 Pre-Game Infield/Outfield 12:45-3:00 Game 1 3:30-5:30 Instruction Group 2 12:15-2:15 Instruction 2:45-3:15 Pre-Game Infield/Outfield 3:15-5:30 Game 2 DATES Prospect Camp #1 September 6, 2008 from 9:00am 5:30pm. (Rain date: September 7, 2008) Prospect Camp #2 September 13, 2008 from 9:00am 5:30pm. (Rain date: September 14, 2008) FACILITIES Scott Park and the Toledo Baseball Practice Facility provide an excellent opportunity for complete baseball skill instruction and performance. The main diamond, along with the indoor facility enables campers to receive instruction in all aspects of the game. COST Cost for the camp is $120. This fee includes a numbered camp t-shirt and lunch provided by the UT Baseball Camp Staff. PARTICIPANTS Players graduating from high school in 2009 or 2010 who have a strong desire to play college baseball may attend camp. We ask that all of our campers have a desire to learn, be attentive and conduct themselves in a professional manner. APPLICATION PROCEDURES Fee is non-refundable. confirmation will be given upon completed online registration. Enrollment is limited so that quality individual instruction is maintained. Applications will be processed in the order that they are received until all the available positions are filled. GENERAL INFORMATION Each player is responsible to bring their own baseball equipment. Players will need their own bat, glove, batting gloves, spikes, hat, and catchers must bring their own gear. All campers will be issued a Toledo Baseball numbered T-shirt to be worn during camp.
