1 Tab 1: Home Page Red Rock Recover Center is a Colorado state licensed substance abuse extended care treatment program designed to help you or your loved one recover from the struggles associated with alcoholism and drug addiction. Located in Denver, Colorado we offer a safe haven for those afflicted by the ravages of untreated addiction. Our program is based on a compassionate 12-step model that applies behavioral as well as life skill therapies, which will enable our clients to heal and recover. At Red Rock Recovery Center our experienced staff will diagnose and treat the direct and underlying causes of addiction through a holistic approach that caters to our clients individual needs. Through the use of evidence-based treatment models coupled with a strong accountability based living environment our outcomes have proven to ensure success. Mission Statement Our mission is to provide young adults suffering from alcoholism and drug addiction with a safe and structured healing environment conducive to a purposeful life in recovery. Our 12 step holistic approach heals the mind, body, and spirit addressing all issues related to you or your loved one s untreated addiction. Red Rock Recovery Center provides innovative treatment programs for individuals who are dealing with chemical dependency and other cooccurring disorders. Because no individual is the same, neither can be their treatment program. This individualized assessment will help us customize your treatment plan as well as diagnose any other mental or behavioral health issues. From this assessment each client s primary therapist will derive an individual treatment program outlining the goals and objectives necessary for a foundation for long-term recovery. Red Rock Recovery Center s Medical Director will assess if our client s health is suitable for our program. If it is determined that our client s health is unstable and medical detox is required, Red Rock Recovery Center will work intimately with the family to make the necessary arrangements. State of the Art Curriculum- Our Denver Colorado Recovery Center will provide a comprehensive drug and alcohol education to our clients. Our curriculum uses evidence based treatment modalities such as a strong 12-step model coupled with cognitive behavioral therapy. Address and amend family and social relationship dynamics Programs drop down tab 2 -Individual Counseling Red Rock Recovery Center provides individual counseling for chemical dependency at our Denver Colorado Treatment Program. Individual counseling will occur weekly to biweekly based on our client s treatment curriculum. At Red Rock Recovery Center we understand every client is unique. Therefore we know not every treatment plan can be the same. For this reason we have established our individual counseling program that caters to each clients customized treatment plan. Clients will develop a strong relationship with their individual primary therapist for the duration of their program. Our individual counseling allows clients to work on an intimate level with their primary therapist addressing recovery-related topics such as: Unresolved trauma Harmful Thought processes and patterns Core beliefs Family dynamics 12 step programs and principles Aspirations and goals Self esteem and identity Communication and relationships Drop Down tab 3 Adventure Therapy Program At Red Rock Recovery Center we offer a unique Adventure Therapy Program allowing clients opportunities to gain stronger relationships with peers as well as gaining new skills that will enhance their recovery as they continue to move forward. Our Adventure Therapy Program promotes teamwork, self-confidence, and personal achievement while learning to enjoy life in sobriety. Our Adventure Therapy Program includes camping, hiking, backpacking, and rock climbing. Seasonal activities include snowshoeing, skiing, and snowboarding. This program will help clients identify belief patterns and behaviors while enabling clients to practice

4 healthy communication, teamwork development, and active leadership. Experienced staff will guide clients on our weekly outdoor excursions. Programs dropdown tab 4 Dual Diagnosis Red Rock Recovery Center offers state of the art substance abuse treatment coupled with a holistic approach to clients afflicted with dual diagnoses promoting healing of body, mind and spirit. What is Dual Diagnosis? It is common for individuals entering drug and alcohol treatment to have other co-occurring disorders that have been left untreated due to extensive substance abuse. It is imperative that during our clients initial assessment we diagnosis and treat not only the addiction but any mental illness as well. This is referred to as dual diagnosis. Often times individuals suffering from mental illness will resort to selfmedicating their co-occurring disorder. This way of dealing with their illness always hurts the afflicted more than helping. Extensive substance abuse tends to intensify mental illness hindering their chances at recovery and mental stability. It is common to find that dually diagnosed clients have suffered from their mental illness longer than their addiction. At Red Rock Recovery Center our team of professionals specializes in diagnosing and treating our clients suffering from mental disorders. We focus on providing a curriculum of recovery individual to their mental illness and addiction that will enable them to function on a heightened level as they create a foundation for long term sobriety. Our highly dedicated team of professionals are trained to incorporate mental health illness and substance abuse treatment plans through process groups, individual therapy sessions, medication management and support groups. Our staff uses innovative treatment methods to effectively treat substance abuse and mental health illness. 5 Stress Co-Dependency Mood Disorders Programs dropdown tab 5: Aftercare alumni program Red Rock Recovery Center understands that a six month extended-care treatment and structured-living environment is only the beginning in creating a life-long journey in recovery. Although our clients create a strong foundation within our program, we believe it is important to maintain the relationships they have built with our staff members and their peers. For this reason we have made arrangements to offer up to a year of aftercare within our program. Once a client commences from our Red Rock Recovery Transitional Living Program to our Aftercare Alumni Program, they will continue to attend daily house accountability meetings as well as up to two licensed aftercare group therapy sessions per week. Our alumni clients will also have the privilege of continuing individual therapy sessions with their primary counselor. All clients attending our Aftercare Alumni Program will be subject to random drug screenings for the length of their continued care. Red Rock Recovery Center Alumni will have the option to stay in an alumni house on our Denver Colorado Campus. This residence will be off campus from our current Red Rock Recovery client facility. Graduates of our drug and alcohol treatment center who choose to move into an alumni house will pay their own rent and be expected to hold themselves as well as other peers to the recovery program principles they were taught while at Red Rock Recovery Center. Clients who choose this option will also be required to sign a set of standards while a resident at our alumni house. The Red Rock Recovery Center Aftercare Alumni Program gives former clients the opportunity to remain part of a strong fellowship and staff support system where they began their journey in sobriety. Attending our aftercare alumni program permits former residents to not only maintain their fellowship but give back to current clients through sponsorship, service, and participation in Red Rock Recovery Center functions. Tab 3: Structured Transitional Living

6 Red Rock Recovery Center s Transitional Living Program is a 12 stepbased, accountability oriented environment where our residents will live for the duration of their stay. Our transitional living programs are strictly gender specific. Residents will live in a highly structured environment for the purpose of engaging in working the 12 steps and practicing principles of recovery. Members of each house will be required to find a sponsor and begin engaging in 12 step work, obtain employment, and practice the principle of being fully self-supporting as well as engage in peer and staff driven accountability. Our residents will have opportunities to exhibit the life skills they are acquiring at Red Rock Recovery Center as they begin to be freed from alcoholism and drug addiction. Our goal is to promote recovery, service, and a strong fellowship that will create an unshakable foundation for years to come. Clients will be required to comply with numerous recovery oriented standards. These standards will provide a structure where clients will grow and evolve into strong, productive members of society. Standards will include the abstinence from alcohol and any other mind altering chemicals, attendance of daily house accountability meetings, as well as external anonymous meetings, and respect for one another s safety, privacy, and possessions. Red Rock Recovery Center engages its clients in 12 step anonymous programs while providing a setting for which residents will learn that sobriety and recovery can be fulfilling and fun. Residents will learn to grow into healthy relationships with peers and family, make a sufficient living through employment, as well as find a sense of community and belonging in their recovery. Red Rock Recovery Center Standards require the expulsion of old ideas and beliefs while creating new ideals. Our clients will find strength and motivation with heavy support of their peers and staff. Recovery cannot be undertaken alone which is why our residents will establish strong sponsorship, peer support, and staff relationships that will help them find a new freedom and a new happiness. Our experience has shown us that when the family engages in their own recovery process, the chances of a successful long term sobriety greatly increase for their loved one. It s as simple as this: when the family gets recovery, the addict gets recovery. Together as a family, along with Red Rock Recovery Center s ongoing support, a foundation for recovery can be established. Beginning with your very first call, our director of admissions will guide you with a step by step process that will make for a smooth transition in getting your loved one admitted into our recovery program. Red Rock Recovery Center Staff understands that taking this crucial step in saving your loved one s life can be a very stressful and heartbreaking process for our clients families. We will provide a detailed outline of our drug and alcohol treatment program, as well as give the family and loved one the opportunity to have any and all questions and concerns satisfied. Family will be welcome to have a tour of our facilities as well as meet our professional staff. Our highest priority is making the beginning of this recovery process a sound and satisfying experience for all parties. Once a client has been admitted to our drug and alcohol treatment program, family will receive weekly communication from our program director on the status and progress of your loved one. Family will also receive biweekly status updates from their loved one s primary counselor. Our residents primary counselors will give reports regarding their therapeutic progress as well as provide support to the family.

8 At Red Rock Recovery Center we specialize in addressing and treating distressed family dynamics. We know that through the harmful cycle of untreated alcoholism, both the addict and the family suffer from the abuse produced by addiction. All parties experience feelings of neglect, manipulation, and poor communication. Our family program addresses these obstacles and will enable both family and loved one to create new dynamics for a healthy family in recovery moving forward. Our family program will consist of group and individual sessions as well as continued family communication throughout our program. Our experienced staff will encourage family members to engage in their own individual recovery process outside of Red Rock Recovery Center by attending 12 step recovery programs such as Alanon and Family Anonymous. The goal of our family program will be to educate our families on addiction as well as reestablish healthy family dynamics conducive to your loved one s recovery. Tab 5: Denver Location Our Denver Colorado campus offers clients the ideal setting to begin a new life in recovery. Located at the base of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, Denver is a young, and active city that is an optimal environment for our drug and alcohol treatment center. Denver s striking architecture, urban and commercial environment, and breathtaking views provide one of the most sought after places to live in the country. With a booming economy and over five colleges and universities, Denver gives our clients the best chances for success and a bright future in recovery. Denver is one of the most cultural destinations in Colorado and has a thriving art and music scene. Being the largest city in Colorado, Denver offers all of the amenities of a metropolitan community: fine dining, premier shopping, historical sites, luxury hotels, and an abundance of entertainment. Denver Colorado has over 1, step recovery meetings per week including a strong fellowship of young people in sobriety. Clients will have the luxury of being able to attend a variety recovery meetings and build a fellowship of peers in sobriety. At Red Rock Recovery Center we believe that fun and recreation is vital to long term sobriety. Our drug and alcohol treatment center is

9 situated just minutes away from many national parks and forests, making it the perfect location to provide opportunities to take advantage of the many recreational activities unique to Colorado such as: Skiing and snowboarding Hiking Camping Mountain Biking River rafting Rock climbing Fishing Denver is located at the base of the world famous Rocky Mountains. Yet it is a big surprise to most that conditions only permit an average of up to 15 inches of precipitation and allow over 300 days of sunlight per year (more than Miami and San Diego). Winters are mild, and what little snow does come to the city does not stay on the ground long. The Mile High City sits at an elevation of approximately 5,280 feet above sea level which provides an arid climate with low humidity, and pleasant year round temperatures.
