If this is a change, provide both the old and new wording. The rationale is included on the LIST 2020 proposal. Furthermore, in order to implement the pending approval of the creation of LIST 2020, the Certificate Program of Study must be changed. The new course will be added to Area F as an alternative under the Choose 6 hours from the following courses option. B. Specify the implications of the proposal with special reference to the following points: 1. Is it consistent with the philosophy and mission of the institution? Yes. It will provide a foundation for future children s library services personnel as well as future teachers. 2. Have problems related to administrative implementation been explored? Yes 3. In which college publications should it be reproduced? College catalog and LIST brochure. 4. Will it necessitate changes in record keeping procedures at the college? No 5. Does it involve curricular or program changes? Yes The LIST Certificate Program of Study will be increased to include LIST 2020 as an elective.
