1 Bard f Trustees f the University f Oregn Secnded Mtin Reslutin: AY16 17 Tuitin and Fees Whereas, the Bard f Trustees f the University f Oregn (the Bard ) has the authrity t determine tuitin and mandatry enrllment fees in accrdance with ORS , ORS , ORS , and ther applicable law, and plicy; Whereas, the University has established recmmended tuitin and mandatry enrllment fees fr Academic Year (AY16 17) based n the wrk f a campus advisry grup representing undergraduate students, graduate students, faculty and staff; a series f public frums; and a public cmment perid; Whereas, the Bard authrizes the cllectin f mandatry incidental fees fr AY16 17 recmmended by the president f the University and the recgnized student gvernment (ASUO) and established in accrdance with prvisins utlined in ORS , ORS , ORS , and ther applicable law, and plicy; Whereas, the Bard has authrity t establish plicies fr the rganizatin, administratin and develpment f the university which, t the extent set frth in thse plicies, shall have the frce f law and may be enfrced thrugh university prcedures that include an pprtunity fr appeal and in any curt f cmpetent jurisdictin; and, Whereas, the Finance and Facilities Cmmittee has referred this matter as a secnded mtin t the Bard f Trustees, recmmending apprval; NOW, THEREFORE, the Bard f Trustees f the University f Oregn hereby apprves the fllwing: 1. RESOLVED, that the AY16 17 tuitin and mandatry fee schedule attached heret as Exhibit A is adpted; 2. FURTHER RESOLVED, that the AY16 17 Plicies n Tuitin, Mandatry Enrllment Fees, and Other Charges, Fines and Fees ( Plicies ) attached heret as Exhibit B are adpted effective July 1, 2016 and shall repeal, supersede and replace all University f Oregn rules and plicies related t subject matters addressed in the Plicies, except as determined by the President; and 3. FURTHER RESOLVED, that the President, r his designee(s), may take all actins necessary t implement and enfrce AY tuitin and fees and assciated Plicies.
