Provided inservice and classroom technical assistance for personnel serving preschool children with disabilities in Utah school districts. Developed inservice workshops based on district-identified needs, assisted teachers in the identification of personal teaching goals and collected teacher- and child-outcome data Research Assistant, Center for Persons with Disabilities and Department of Special Education and Rehabilitation, Utah State University. Positions included: Head Start Trainer ( 88-89). Provided inservice instruction for Head start personnel to teach social skills to preschoolers with and without disabilities during daily classroom activities. Duties also included collecting child progress data for a social skills intervention. Vocational Trainer ( 87-88). Provided onsite, vocational-skills instruction for middle and high school-age students with disabilities. Editor ( 85-87) for three university publications dealing with disability-related issues Director / Teacher ( 77-82).
