2 How to Take the Tour The Earth Works Pond Tour is self guided. Begin anywhere you like! Tour hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Plus it s FREE! The tour consists of 13 stops each featuring an interesting water feature. The pond owners have very kindly agreed to let us visit their properties. They only ask every precaution be taken to avoid damage to their landscaping. Do not knock on doors, please stay on walkways, and do not disturb their plants. As a courtesy to these homeowners please observe tour hours. Cameras and video are welcome. There will be refreshments at stop 13. Jason The Pond Guy will be at his Fall Google Maps home for the tour hours to answer all your water gardening questions. Please take the time to check the website, our facebook fan page, or call the garden center before you start the tour in case there are any last minute changes

3 The Tabakian Residence: 1101 West Kesley Lane, Jullington Creek 1 This pond and back yard is a favorite. The pond is 15 x 35 and has a lot to see. Two things to check out are the bog garden and the awesome paver bridge leading to the patio. The Northey Residence: Reservoir Lane East, Mandarin 2 The Northey pond is about 10 x 18 with multiple fish tunnels. There is two skimmers and two waterfalls. There is the slow windy one with tall rapids. But one of the coolest things is the deck which looks like a dock because the pond goes under it. Paul Caron: 8483 Brierwood Road, Jacksonville, FL Ask about this exhisting concrete pond. He recently had his waterfall updated. This waterfall is very unique, as it is made out of one amazing piece of drftwood. This is a great home to ask questions about maintenance on concrete ponds. Mica Brown Residence: Chester Lake Rd. West, Jacksonville, Fl Deer Creek 4 This yard has a natural woodland back drop. So it was fitting to include natural wood pieces in the waterfall and 8 X 10 foot pond. Be sure to check out how the hardscaping completes the effect. Marc Sigle Residence: 8734 Belle Rive Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl Belle Rive 5 What a great location to build a water feature. This pond has a definite Asian flair, from the japanese maple to the meditation stone bench. The dimensions are 6 X 12 feet with a nice long stream. Bill North Residence: 3718 Cricket Cove Road East, Jacksonville, Fl Jacksonville Golf 6 The moss growing on the rocks of this waterfall really make it. It s a great waterfall to get ideas for creating or re-doing a waterfall into your pond. The waterfall alone takes up a 12 X 15 foot print. Earth Works Garden Center: Beach Blvd., just west of Kernan 7 For those of you that don t know Earth Works, we have 5 separate water features on-site. The sounds and sites are so relaxing.

4 McDonalds: Atlantic Blvd., Jacksonville, Fl Between Hodges & San Pablo 8 This is a great stop to make for lunch. You can enjoy a burger and watch this pondless waterfall that is made of all Tennesee field stone with moss. The feature is visable from Atlantic Blvd. The Hendricks Residence: 4334 Springmoor Drive E., Old Hidden Hills 9 This pond tells a really great story of things to do and not do. Mrs. Hendricks pond has been put through it all and she can tell you about it. It s a 4 x 8 pond with lots of trees above it. Fran McEwan: 6157 Bartram Road South, Jacksonville, FL The fish in this pond have been upgraded this year to the pent house. They went from a preformed 2x5 pond to an 8x8 pond with a 2 ft. waterfall. Their one monster koi can now really spread its wings. This is a great home owner to ask questions about the difference between the two ponds and how an upgrade is executed. The McGregor Residence: 3830 Sarah Brook Court, Jacksonville, Fl Brittney Bluff 11 The addition of this pond and fire pit area took a nice backyard pool and turned it into a real entertaining oasis. The waterfall has two beautiful pieces of driftwood. And with the new Aquascapes adjustable pump the sound is amazing. Beverly Keys: 3917 Victoria Lakes Drive South, Jacksonville, FL If you ve ever wanted to feel what it s like to enter a castle, this is the house to visit! This pondless waterfall stretches across the front of the house about 25 ft. and to get to the house you must cross over it. See how welcoming a babling brook can be! Jason Duffney Residence: White Cedar Trail, Jacksonville, Fl North Wood 13 Don t miss the pond guy s house. He has two water features on tour. The pondless waterfall in the front yard is so long you have to cross it to reach the front door. In the back yard, you will find not only the pond but some warm hot dogs too. This pond is 8 x 11 feet with a 500 gallon rainxchange system. Jason will be home all day to answer any of your water gardening questions.
