When a hurricane Watch is designated for the area, the Vice-President will call a meeting of all available LFCCI directors, golf pro, grounds supervisor, comptroller, and café manager. 2. The meeting agenda will include: 1. Designate coordinator 2. Assign responsibilities for checklist items 3. Designate two volunteer coordinators 4. Decision to contact Carolina Tree Service 5. Decision to board up clubhouse 6. Decision to move items off premise 7. Decision to close 8. Other(s) GENERAL INFORMATION 1. Walkie-talkies are located in the pro shop, maintenance shed and cart barn. 2. The combination to the safe is known by Comptroller, Finance Director, Golf Pro. Extra keys are located there. 3. 4 GOLF COURSE MAINTENANCE LFCC HURRICANE READINESS PLAN Person(s) responsible: Jason Crawford/Beecher Washburn 1. Bring in and store flags, ropes, 150 yd markers, directional signs, bag stands, sand boxes, etc. 2. Order gas and diesel fuel, fill spare cans for pumps, generators and chainsaws. 3. Sharpen chainsaws, and prepare pumps and generators for use. 4. Pump ponds down, including irrigation pond. 5. Line up extra pumps and hose from rental store (first come, first serve). 6. Fill backhoe and tractors with fuel. 7. Secure all loose items around maintenance barn, move equipment indoors. 8. Arrange list of contact numbers including employees and pro-shop staff. 9. Determine where debris will be staged for later removal. 10. Arrange for tree and debris removal (Carolina Tree Service). 11. Mow greens 12. Secure computers in maintenance area. 13. Cut off gas. 14.
