Many of the core courses in the School of International Studies are team taught by faculty from different disciplines. All SIS students are required to complete a study abroad program and learn another language. You can choose from more than 100 different programs in more than 60 countries. Pacific also prepares you to maximize your study abroad experience through our internationally recognized cross-cultural training program. experiential Learn from Every Direction SIS students take part in a variety of experiential learning opportunities, including internships, research, student leadership, and community service. SIS students have led teams to study sustainable agriculture in Panama, helped develop tourism in Nepal, taught English in Korea, and taken advantage of scores of other opportunities both at home and abroad. Students participate in conferences such as the Model United Nations and the Student Conference on U.S. Affairs at West Point, and choose from an array of more than 100 student clubs and organizations.
