18 83 Filler X(03) Must be spaces. 84 Peanut Processing Flag X(01) Required for all peanut records in the Unit, IF there is more than one price for the Unit. IF all peanuts in the Unit have the non-contract (Established) price, leave this field blank. S = one single contract price for the unit M = multiple prices for the unit If a UNIT has ALL non-contract peanuts (established price), then ALL records for that unit must have a "blank" flag. If a UNIT has ALL contracted peanuts with ONE contract price (NO non-contracted peanuts and total guarantee must equal contracted pounds), then ALL records for that unit must have an "S" flag. If a UNIT has MORE THAN ONE PRICE (noncontracted peanuts and one contract price or two contract prices, etc.), then ALL records for that unit must have an "M" flag. Else space. 85 Rate Yield (08)V9(02) Required. Continuous rating insurance plans 25, 44, 47 and 90 rate yield will be used to determine base premium rate and must match rate yield on the record type 15. Rate yield does not have to match yield (field 31). Rate yield can be greater than zero or zero. A rate yield of zero will be used to determine base premium rate, resulting in a higher rate (lower the yield, higher the rate). For Cotton and ELS Cotton, this must be the skip-row rate yield and match the converted rate yield on the record type 15 (record type 15, Rate Yield * skip-row factor). Non-continuous rating insurance plans 41, 42, 45 rate yield must match rate yield on the T15 record. Insurance plan 55, rate yield must match yield (field 31). Non-continuous rating insurance plans 12, 13, 14, 40, 50, 51 and 73 zero fill rate yield and yield (field 31). For Peanuts, if field #45 is greater than zero, this field must be greater than zero. 86 Residual Factor (01)V9(03) Internal. DAS will store the residual factor used in calculation of total premium for plans 25 (RA), 44 (CRC) and 90 (APH). Company will not submit a value. FCIC-APPENDIX III RY2010

21 96 Modified Acreage Record Flag (02) Required. This is to implement the 2005 Basic Provisions concerning allowable reasons to change the acreage report for a policy. If the reported unit total liability is more than $250 different than the value recorded 60 days after the acreage reporting date, a value greater than 00, representing the reason for the modification is required. If the unit total liability changes by any amount prior to 60 days after the acreage report date or if it changes by less than $250 after 60 days after acreage report date, this may be Not Applicable 01 Approved Modified Acreage record 02 Liability Adjustment Factor (LAF) applies 03 Misreported Information Factor (MIF) applies 04 Both LAF and MIF apply 06 Processing Correction 07 - Estimated Tonnage - Raisins 08 - Fall/Spring Unit 97 Unit Liability (10) Required. This field contains the sum of the amounts reported in the Liability, (field 42), for the unit, reported in the transmission. If there are multiple T11 records for the unit with more than one seed cycle (Fall vs. Spring), this Total must be the same on all T11s for the unit with the same seed cycle. This Total will be used in the validation of the modified acreage record flag, (field 96). Seed cycle is identified for some crops by type (fall and spring) and for some crops by practice (fall, winter, spring, summer). If a crop has a fall and winter practice or type, they should be summed together or a spring and summer practice or type, they should be summed together. 98 Written Agreement Multi Year Flag X(01) Internal Use. Acreage will not be accepted by DAS more than 60 days prior to the earliest final planting date for the crop/type/practice in the county. This does not apply to California Sugar Beets (except counties 025, 035, 049, 089 & 093). This does not apply to Wheat and Barley in Idaho, Oregon and Washington. FCIC-APPENDIX III RY2010

23 Notes con t Does not apply to Wheat if the type code = 011 or 997. Rate State and Rate County can only be different from Location State and County if a written agreement is in effect. If a producer has a Sheller contract, Peanut records will be reported for 2 primary reasons, 1) to report and calculate the Total Guarantee for the Unit, and 2) to report and calculate the Liability by price and Premium by rate for the Unit. These primary reasons will require the submission of two type 11 records, these are referred to as the total guarantee record and the liability/premium record. If there are variable conditions within the unit that require additional records, (ie late planting, prevented planting, type, practice or share), they will need a total guarantee and liability/premium record. Total premium for Peanuts is based on the Total Guarantee for Timely Planted Acres (not reduced for late or prevented planting). For Late and Prevented Planting situations, companies must report the appropriate amount of Contracted Pounds on the Liability/Premium records for the Timely Planted Total Guarantee so Total Premium can be calculated correctly. However, do not report contracted pounds that exceed the total guarantee for timely planted acres. The above reporting requirements may apply to records with a peanut processing flag of S or M. 1) For the Total Guarantee records, the companies will submit data for field numbers, 1-13, 18, 19, 20, 29, 30, 31, 34, 35, 36, 37, 38, 41, 58, 59, 74, 77, 80, 87, 88, 96, 97 and any other field that will affect the total guarantee. Even though Insured Share will not affect the total guarantee, if the share is different, it must be reported with the different acres for the share. All other fields must be "zero filled" or left "blank" on the total guarantee record. 2) For the Liability and Premium records, the companies will submit data for field numbers, 1-13, 18, 19, 23, 26, 27, 28, 33, 34, 38(for non-contracted pounds, if applicable), 39, 40(for contract pounds only), 41, 42, 43, 45, 46, 48, 49, 51, 52, 57, 62, 63, 68, 72, 73, 81 (for contract pounds only), 85, 89, 96, 97, and any other field that will affect the liability or premium. All other fields must be "zero filled" or left "blank" on the liability/premium record. The Peanut Sheller Warehouse Code must be reported on liability/premium T11 records with a processing flag of M and a contract price, and on T11 records with a processing flag of S which must have a contract price. Organic Option If crop is being insured as Organic by a Written Agreement do not report the organic code in the common option field. If crop is being insured as Organic and does not need a written agreement, then report the applicable Common Option code (OT = Organic Transitional acreage and OC = Organic Certified acreage). Biotechnology Endorsement (BE Option Code) The BE is ONLY available for Corn for Grain in the areas identified in the Pilot Biotechnology Endorsement for plan codes 25 (RA), 44 (CRC) and 90 (APH). The BE option code will be found on the ADM-K record with the applicable factors. The BE option code must be reported on T11 records that qualify and have the discount applied. BE does NOT apply to prevented planting acres, or high-risk acres (ADM F or written agreement type HR ) or acres with written agreement (other than written agreement types UA and 33 ). At least 75% of the total insurable corn acreage PLANTED, including any replanted acreage, in the unit must be Corn for Grain planted to a qualifying hybrid. FCIC-APPENDIX III RY2010
