We have adpted the attitude f N Excuses and Achieving the Dream and have utilized the resurces made available t assist a student wh wuld ther drp ut f schl (Fd Pantry, Referrals t Husing and Childcare, awareness f ther resurces in the Cllege). We wrk with WT CJ Prfessrs very well. They cme in and recruit/mtivate ur students and we prvide them with a cntact early in the prcess s the student s transitin ges smthly. I can t fficially quantify the results ther than increased graduates, but there is mre interactin with the PD and AHS students and students are transferring n t WT. This gal statement will be terminated fr as there was a shift in pririties in the Criminal Justice Department t Hmeland Security. Als, there are currently free nline curses ffered thrugh varius websites. Outcme/Objective Statement (Be sure t include audience, behavir, cnditins, degree/benchmark, and evaluatin methd): Upn cmpletin f the develpment f nline curses, students will enrll and cmplete selected curses and receive TCLEOSE credit (AC Strategic Plan thrugh 2015: Task 2.2.2). We are als analyzing ther nline prviders, TCLEOSE and Classen Buck, t determine what is already being ffered and csts assciated in taking their nline curses.
