This additional sheet of Academic Information, attached with application documents, is only provisional. You can download a copy of the prospectus from our website. Enquiries Admission is open to students from any denomination and who are confident of their salvation experience and call to ministry. Application forms and Prospectus can be obtained from the Office of the Academic Dean upon request or downloaded and printed from the JMBC website. Applications must be accompanied by the payment of nonrefundable application fee of Rs.100/- by Money order or Demand Draft payable to Jubilee Memorial Bible College. Academic year begins in June and duly filled applications should be submitted/ mailed to the above address by 28th February preceding the month of June in which admission is sought. A late fee of Rs. 100/- per month must accompany late applications. The closing date for completed applications with late fee is 31st March. b. Application Forms. The Admissions Committee will not normally consider interviewing an applicant until the Academic Office has received all the required documents including the following: 1. Application form duly filled in. 2. Two copies of recent photograph (one passport size and one stamp-size) in addition to the one affixed on the application form. 3. One photocopy of each page of all academic records, certificates and transcripts. (Originals are to be submitted to the Academic Office at the time of Registration for the first semester. This is essential for confirming the provisional admission of the candidate). 4. A copy of the migration/transfer certificate. 5. The applicant s written testimony on his/her Christian experience and personal commitment to Christ as well as the applicant s purpose in pursuing theological training at JMBC on a separate sheet. 6. The medical certificate on the prescribed form filled out by a medical practitioner not below the rank of MBBS. 7. A letter of sponsorship (with or without financial commitment, as is the case) from the applicant s sending church, mission or educational institution, to whom the student remains accountable. 8. Three letters of recommendation in the prescribed form. These should be on the prescribed form and be sent directly from each Referee to the Academic Dean. Letters of recommendation attached with the application form will not be considered valid. c. Interview and Qualifying Examination Selected applicants will be invited to come to Jubilee, at their own expense, for interview and qualifying examination on the dates intimated. JMBC will take care of boarding and lodging when they are on campus for this purpose. While on campus, the applicants will be interviewed by the Admissions Committee and will take a qualifying examination in English. Final selection is subject to their satisfaction performance in these and those not selected will return immediately.

7 II. GENERAL ADMISSION POLICIES The following policies govern all admissions to JMBC. a. Sponsorship It is the policy of Jubilee that normally only those applicants, who are sponsored by a Church, mission or established Christian organization will be considered for admission. In this clause, the term sponsored by means that the applicant has been recommended by and will be accountable to the sponsoring body. b. Educational Qualifications Applicants for the B.Th. degree course should have passed the 12 th standard or Pre University Examination, i.e., candidates must be eligible for admission into any recognized university. Applicants for M.Div degree course should be (a) graduates from a recognized University; or (b) B.Th Graduates with a second class from any recognized theological institutions; or (c) mature candidates, i.e., those who are at least 25 years of age and have studied up to the 12 th standard or Pre-University; they need to pass a special examination conducted by JMBC. c. Program Duration and Residency The residency requirement for B.Th. program is three academic years. For M.Div. program, it is four Academic years. For applicants with B.Th. or any other Equivalent degree (with minimum 2 nd class pass) from recognized institutions, the residency is Two years. JMBC does not normally admit any applicant as day scholar. III. COURSE REQUIREMENTS a. Regular Programs Regular B.Th. students and M.Div students are required to complete a minimum of 91 and 112 credit hours respectively. (For details of the Curriculum please consult the new prospectus). b. Certificate and Diploma courses In addition to B.Th & M.Div, Jubilee also has Certificate and Diploma Courses. These Programs of part-time study in Bible knowledge and ministry skills are primarily designed for student spouses, who are unable to attend a regular course but yet desire to prepare themselves to be effective co-workers with their spouses. A minimum of 30 credit hours at the B.Th. level for C.Th. degree and 60 credit hours at the B.Th. level for Dip.Th. degree is essential for successful completion of the course. Usually, the foundational courses will be offered to these candidates. *****
