Danish window verification (DWV) DWV verifies that the members of the window industry comply to the standards for Technical Requirements. Control is carried out by the Danish Technological Institute. GRP - benefits the environment by saving energy With GRP, one is able to achieve excellent insulation properties. Since GRP is not degraded by wind and weather, no energy and resources are used on producing new windows to replace old ones. GRP is nearly maintenance free in the lifetime of the product, thus reducing the need for paint and other chemicals for frequent maintenance. GRP profiles are suitable for recycling and they are being recycled right now, although the quantities are small because of GRPs longevity. GRP is manufactured with a very low energy consumption, approx. 1/5 of the production energy used for aluminum. Moreover, GRP is lightweight and reduces the energy demand for transport, handling and assembly.
