The Model Category enabled the auto-population of the appropriate asset tables based on matching the CI Class with the corresponding asset table (ie AIX Server to Hardware Asset table) When the asset record is created it is linked to the corresponding CI record as are three fields by default (assigned to, location and cost) When any of these fields change in either table, the corresponding record in the other table is automatically updated.
