2 CityLites Overview OUTFRONT Media CityLites is the exclusive provider of skyway advertising in all our markets including Minneapolis, St. Paul, Rochester and the Mall of America. Our platform allows advertisers to achieve broad reach and excellent frequency against an upscale, educated audience of working adults in the Central Business District and entertainment areas of our downtown markets. In addition to rotational campaigns, our product is perfectly positioned to target specific areas within our markets including the Minneapolis Convention Center, sporting events at Target Field, Target Center and the Xcel Energy Center. The skyways are linked to the headquarters of fortune 500 corporations like Target, Ameriprise, Thrivent, US Bancorp, Xcel Energy, Ecolab and more. Minneapolis alone has the largest climate controlled, continuous pedestrian skyway system in the world, linking over 80 blocks of downtown office buildings, area attractions, hotels and more! The CityLites platform was created in 1996 to offer an alternative to traditional out-of-home marketing platforms that engage consumers, business executives and visitors in the heavily used skyway systems in the Midwest. Since then, our skyway platform and unique offerings have grown exponentially becoming one of the most indemand media outlets that out-of-home has to offer in the markets we represent! What are Skyways? Skyways are an interconnected collection of 2nd story, climate-controlled, pedestrian footbridges that connect buildings in the downtown cores. Skyways allow downtown workers and visitors to move easily through the downtown area in climate controlled comfort, always much appreciated during the long, cold Minnesota winters; and during hot, humid summers. Skyways are heavily used for speed, convenience and to protect people from the elements. The first Minneapolis skyway was opened in 1962 and since then more than 8 miles of skyway have been built. The Minneapolis skyway system is the largest continuous skyway system in the world connecting 80 city blocks with over 700 retail establishments in the skyway system. In St. Paul the first skyway opened in 1967 and has since grown to more than 5 miles connecting 40 city blocks. Our digital panels are capable of full motion video, animation or static messages. Digital allows you to change your creative as needed and can rotate several different messages for each advertiser. How often will my advertisment be displayed? Our digital panels run on a 2 minute loop of 12 advertisers and are 10 seconds in length. Our 2 dynamic digital displays are strategically located by Target Field, Target Center, the Warehouse District and Theatre District in downtown Minneapolis. Why would I choose to advertise with wallscapes? Wallscapes can vary in size and are customizable depending on budgets and creative need. They allow advertisers to dominate areas of the skyways reaching consumers in a bold and unexpected way with larger than life applications that can't be missed. This is a great opportunity to take advantage of the 3+ million Twins, Timberwolves and other events fans, along with the everyday downtown worker. What types of applications are available? This area also includes the theater district which comprises the Orpheum Theater, State Theater, Pantages Theater, New Century Theater and the Cowles Dance Center. The warehouse district surrounds this area with multiple bars, restaurants, nightlife and other lifestyle shopping/entertainment venues. 21 Activation Events Engagement. Sampling. Giveaways. What is an Activation Event? Activation Events are an add-on option for bringing your skyway advertising campaign and brand to life! These can include product sampling, literature distribution, brand ambassadors, games, mascots and many more possibilities as part of your campaign. Can we have Activation Events in all buildings? Activation Events are limited in availability specific to certain buildings. Staffing must be provided by the client based on their needs for brand emersion. Engagement techniques must also be approved by the building prior to the date of activation. Exact locations will be determined based on campaign specifics and building regulations.
