1 Page 1 KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY The Payroll and Accounts Officer is responsible for: Accurately processing the Payroll and meet all reporting requirements. Performing the Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions. Maintaining an appropriate audit trail. Assisting the General Manager Finance and Risk with the effective functioning of the Finance and Risk department. PAYROLL 1.1 Compile Payroll information from time sheets and/or third party rostering software (e.g. Roster-On). 1.2 Process the main fortnightly Payroll and the alternate fortnight mini-payroll. 1.3 Process monthly superannuation payments. 1.4 Prepare Payroll reports including PAYG summaries. 1.5 Reconcile the wages clearing account and salary sacrifice accounts after every pay-cycle. 1.6 Respond to requests for information from staff in relation to their pay. 1.7 Remain informed regarding new and amended government regulations and legislation with respect to Payroll. 1.8 Assist the General Manager Finance and Risk with Payroll related topics/projects. 2. ACCOUNTS PAYABLE 2.1 Ensure creditor invoices are processed in an accurately and timely manner. 2.2 Process creditors run and other payments as required by cheques, electronic fund transfer and petty cash. 2.3 Reconcile all creditor accounts. 2.4 Prepare end of month reports.

ACCOUNTS RECEIVABLE 3.1 Ensure all debtor invoices and receipts are processed in an accurately and timely manner. 3.2 Ensure all funds are correctly banked. 3.3 Reconcile all debtor accounts and follow up on outstanding payments. 3.4 Prepare end of month reports. 4. OTHER DUTIES 4.1 Ensure appropriate audit trails exist for all transactions. 4.2 Review internal systems and procedures as requested. 4.3 Liaise with General Manager Finance & Risk on Payroll, on a regular basis. 4.4 Ensure strict confidentiality of all employee information. 4.5 Monitor processes and implement process improvements. 4.6 Maintain the Petty Cash. 4.7 Assist as required with internal and external audits, handling of funds at fundraising events and to present training in simple bookkeeping at staff inductions. 5. OCCUPATIONAL SAFETY AND HEALTH 5.1 Comply with employee's duties under Section 20 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 as follows: comply with instructions given by the General Manager for your own safety and health and that of other persons;

4 Page 4 use protective clothing and equipment as provided by employer and according to instructions; not misuse or damage any equipment provided in the interest of safety and health; report any hazards to your Manager; immediately report accidents / incidents to the General Manager; follow documented safe work practices; and assist the employer in meeting their duties under section 21 of the Occupational Health and Safety Act as below. 5.2 Comply with employee's duties under Section 21 of the Occupational Safety and Health Act 1984 as follows: An employer shall, so far as is practicable, ensure that the safety or health of a person, not being (in the case of an employer) an employee of the employer, is not adversely affected wholly or in part as a result of work that has been or is being undertaken by the employer or any employee of the employer; or any hazard that arises from or is increased by the work referred to; or the system of work that has been or is being operated by the employer. 6. GENERAL 6.1 Perform other duties as directed within the limits of your skills and competence; 6.2 Maintain and develop knowledge and skills relevant to the role; 6.3 Work within the Policies and Procedures of Senses Australia; 6.4 Unless otherwise authorised, keep confidential information confidential to Senses Australia whether during employment or after your employment ceases; 6.5 Dress in a manner which enables the execution of all duties and presents Senses Australia to the community in the best manner;

5 Page Dress in a manner which enables the face to be fully exposed for full facial expression and communication; and 6.7 Maintain effective communication with all staff. SELECTION CRITERIA ESSENTIAL 1 Experience using integrated payroll systems. 2 Experience in the interpretation of awards, legislation, policies and procedures. 3 Experience in Superannuation processes. 4 Experience in Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. 5 Understanding of and a commitment to contemporary service provision. 6 Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office. 7 Effective verbal and written communication skills. 8 High level of attention to detail and accuracy. 9 Demonstrated time management skills. 10 Ability to work as part of a team DESIRABLE 11 Experience using the CHRIS21 payroll system.
