If, so, how many hours per day and/or week is required for onsite staff labor? a. The only time onsite staff will be required is for the annual collection event at Ikea. This event is typically scheduled for 8:00 AM to 12:00 PM on a Saturday. 12. Provide current or most recent contract disposal pricing for the services outlined in this request. 1

What is the typical weight of all the material shipped per pickup, per location? a. This can vary. 15. How many onsite man hours are typical for each scheduled pickup? a. Two hours or less. 16. Please provide copies of the 3 most recent disposal invoices, with manifests, from each location for the services outlined in this RFP. a. The link for pricing has been included as part of question #12. If additional information is required a Public Information Request will need to be submitted through the City Secretary s Office. The instructions for Public Information Request are located at What is the pickup frequency per location? a. Frisco schedules pickups twice per month. 18. What was the total spend on these services for 2015 to date? a. The City of Frisco spent $98, in fiscal year What are the daily/weekly hours of operation for each location? a. The City of Frisco site is open to the public Wednesdays from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM and Saturdays 8:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Bulk pickups are scheduled for Wednesday mornings. 20. Do you expect any changes to the past shipping practices under the new contract in waste removal frequency? If so, what do you anticipate in 2016? a. We do not anticipate any changes. 21. Is it standard practice to receive the empty drums and packing supplies at the time of each scheduled waste removal? If not, how is it typically handled? a. We prefer to receive the empty drums and supplies when the waste is picked up. 22. Will the awarded vendor be required to provide segregation and packaging training to the City staff as part of this contract? If so, how is it to be managed and billed? a. No. 23. Please list which line items are bulked up by the City staff and which line items are loose packed. a. Paint and automotive products are bulked. All others are loose packed. 24. Are the supply drums listed only 55 gallon poly and metal drums? If not, what size drums do you request? a. Most drums are 55-gallon, but smaller sizes are also utilized as needed. 26. Can latex paint be landfilled? a. No. 27. Please provide a copy of your existing Spill and Fire Prevention Plan so we may review. a. In the event of a spill, the facility will be equipped to handle the situation. The facility is stocked with an assortment of spill containing devices. Bags of vermiculite, absorbent sheets and socks are available to soak up small to large spills that may occur. A plastic portable dike is also available to contain any spill to one area so it may be cleaned up. A spill kit is provided in the bulking area containing, absorbent sheets, pigs, as well as powder neutralizers for acids and bases. Fifty five (55) gallons drums containing liquids will be stored on spill containment platforms to catch liquids in the event of a leak in the drum. The used oil container, with a double wall enclosure, is set upon an elevated retaining wall to catch any spills or leakage from the oil container. The elevated retaining wall is also equipped with a release valve. In the event of a spill the oil can still be recovered without running a high risk of ground contamination. 28. Is the awarded vendor staff responsible for bulking liquids and paints onsite, or is that the responsibility of the City? a. The City Staff will bulk the liquids and paints. 29. The equipment list you are asking us to provide, is it a list of equipment we are to provide the site for your use or do you just want to know what equipment we maintain on our trucks in case of spills? a. We would like a list of items to be provided for the site and what would be on the trucks in case of a spill. 30. Please describe in more detail the Compressed Flammable Gas Cylinder line Items. Is one for handheld propane tanks and the other for 20lb BBQ grill size propane tanks? a. Handheld propane tanks are loose packed in 55-gallon drums. The 20lb BBQ tanks are loaded individually. 3

This will replace pages of the bid. Please use the revised bid form when submitting your bid. Bidders are required to acknowledge receipt of this addendum by initialing in the appropriate space on the CSB document. The due date for this CSB remains January 12, 2016, by 2:00pm CST. Vendors who may have already submitted a bid and feel this addendum may change their bid, may pick up their bid, and return it by the closing date. If picking up the bid is not feasible, any new bid submitted by your firm will supersede one previously submitted. If there is a discrepancy between this addendum and the CSB, the addendum prevails.
