2 Creative Director At Tactile Entertainment we are looking for a Creative Director with a proven track record of creating high quality visually stunning game art to join our team. Reporting to our CEO, the Creative Director will champion the creative excellence of Visual Design and User Experience for our games/apps and provide leadership and mentorship to our design teams. We are seeking a visionary leader able to establish creative direction, promote innovation, and communicate priorities and clear goals for visual design across all Tactile Entertainments productions. Inspire artists, programmers, producers and marketing staff to make the highest quality product possible Oversee multiple projects simultaneously to ensure it meets Tactile Entertainments standard of high quality games Work closely with Product Leads to create product schedule and roadmap to hit high quality goals. Establish the creative vision and implement all aspects of visual design, including game UI/UX for multiple game titles. Relevant experience gained from creating casual, and/or arcade games At least 5-7 years of experience on creating game graphics and at least 3 years as Lead Artist or Art Director Hands-on experience of creating a variety of art styles: casual to realistic styles, 2D, pseudo 3D, 3D Capable of independently creating game art from concept sketching to final renderings/ tweaks Exceptional attention to detail is a must;; in your application/cover letter please mention the phrase beauty is in the details. 4 Data scientist At Tactile Entertainment we are looking for a data scientist with a strong knowledge of large scale database analysis and statistical algorithms to join our marketing and data analysis team. As a data scientist at Tactile Entertainment you will get the opportunity to work on large datasets, and be a significant contributor to developing our lifetime value prediction model, and optimizing the performance of our games. It is not a requirement that you have experience from the gaming industry, what we value most is your ability to understand statistical modeling, and be an expert user of statistical tools, such as R. You will primarily be working on analyzing data in order to improve the stickiness, virality, and monetization of our games and optimizing marketing initiatives. You will be the primary link between our marketing team and our game producers ensuring that we as a team make informed decisions based on data. Design new algorithmic approaches to solving difficult quantitative problems Work with game designers to identify key performance metrics and benchmarks related to user behavior, user segmentation, and user retention. Design data experiments to verify assumptions and hypothesis Build in-game pricing models to optimize in-game economies Marketing optimization Find the best way to advertise to our customers to maximize engagement, clickthroughs, and In App Purchases (IAP). 5 Backend engineer - user acquisition and game management tools At Tactile Entertainment we are looking for a backend engineer with a strong knowledge of web service technologies to join our user acquisition and data analysis team. As a backend engineer at Tactile Entertainment you will join a team of both gameplay focused engineers and technically minded engineers. You will get the opportunity to work on a very broad range of server technologies related to operating a modern mobile game. You will primarily be working on critical web based tools for managing our games and marketing activities. These are all developed in NodeJS with MongoDB and PostgreSQL as the storage components. Additionally you will be working with our game analytics database infrastructure. We use Vertica DB for data analysis on recent analytical data. Additionally we maintain an Amazon Redshift cluster, allowing us to make decisions based on life time player behavior. You will join a team of both gameplay focused engineers and technically minded engineers. You will get the opportunity to work on a very broad range of tasks related to maintaining/updating existing client technology and tools stack, implementing new features in our shared code base, updating existing SDKs, and tools. We use Unity3D to develop our games and we expect our engineers to have impeccable knowledge of using and extending Unity3D to fully support the entire team of artists, level designers and co-engineers.
