Gary E. Loesch has been elected -Elect and Robin Greenleaf has been elected Treasurer to lead the sevenmember Trust effective Sept at the Trust s Fall Meeting in St. Louis. Marc Alper continues as ACEC BIT s man. Gary and Robin are important and outstanding additions to the Trust, said Alper. They bring the leadership and experience necessary to help us continue developing programs that meet and exceed the risk management needs and expectations of our member firms., joined H2M in 1975 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the multidiscipline engineering and architectural firm, which has 240 employees in six offices across New York and New Jersey. Loesch also currently serves on the Risk Management Committee and the Environment and Energy Committee. As a member of the ACEC New York Board of Directors, he has served as Director, National Director, and President, and has chaired the Legislative and Environmental committees. He currently serves on the State Board of Directors and the Scholarship and Legislative committees. In 2011, ACEC of New York named Loesch Engineer of the Year for his contributions and service to ACEC of New York, the engineering profession, and his community. Loesch earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering and a Master of Engineering (Civil) from Cornell University, and a Master in Business Administration (MBA) from Adelphi University.

2 Vice Robin Greenleaf, P.E., LEED AP BD+C, F.ACEC, founded Architectural Engineers, Inc., a professional engineering firm specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection engineering design services, in Greenleaf has served ACEC in many capacities for over 20 years, including Executive Committee liaison to the BIT from As a member of ACEC/Massachusetts Board of Directors, she served as Secretary, Treasurer, Director, National Director, and President. She has also served as Vice of the National Executive Committee. Currently, she serves as Past of ACEC s Council of American Mechanical and Electrical Engineers (CAMEE). Greenleaf earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Oregon State University and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Drexel University. Marc Alper, PE, SE, F.ACEC, joined Alper Audi, Inc., a structural engineering firm experienced in providing consulting for architects, contractors, developers, owners, industry and government, as a Project Engineer in Today he serves as President of the firm. Marc has served in all leadership positions, including man and National Director, of ACEC of Missouri. Alper is very active in many civic and charitable organizations in addition to ACEC. In 2010, he was elected a Fellow of ACEC. Alper earned a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Purdue University and a Master of Science in Structural Engineering from the University of Missouri-Rolla. Loesch, from H2M architects + engineers with headquarters in Melville, NY, has been named -Elect of the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC) Business Insurance Trust (BIT). Loesch, who has served for four years on the seven-member ACEC BIT Board of, began his new role September at the Trust s Fall Meeting in St. Louis. Gary can immediately and effectively assess issues that are important to our member firms, distill them into action items, and efficiently outline the best course of action, said ACEC BIT man Marc Alper. That is among the many reasons why he is the perfect person to lead the trust. Loesch, P.E., DEE, joined H2M in 1975 and currently serves as Chief Operating Officer and Executive Vice President of the multidiscipline engineering and architectural firm, which has 240 employees in six offices across New York and New Jersey. Greenleaf, who has served for three years, began her new role as Treasurer September at the Trust s Fall Meeting in St. Louis. Robin has been a leader in our industry for many years and she has a deep understanding of risk management issues of our member firms, said ACEC BIT man Marc Alper. I am delighted she has accepted this leadership position and will be overseeing the financial management of the trust.
