The counselor should detail thoughts and feelings about client contact, as well as class experiences, supervision, and critical incidents of the counselor's development. In addition, counselors should discuss what they have learned about counseling and themselves as a result of this experience and future goals for professional development. This evaluation should be a minimum of two pages. (C/CT, PS, DM, RT) Articles/Presentation Students are required to review 10 articles and develop an annotated bibliography for each (the annotated bibliography will have the article reference in APA format, one paragraph summary of the article, and one paragraph exploring how this information might be used in the school setting. For the purposes of this practicum, students should focus their readings in areas of concern--a special population client (e.g., child abuse, attention deficit disorder, eating disorder, behavior disorder). Students will provide a typed copy of these annotated bibliographies to fellow students and the instructor. Each student will also make a brief presentation about the special population clients in class (counseling issues and techniques). (C/CT, PS, DM, RT 5
