Data Alliances Evaluate patterns of care through benchmarking See the pattern
Data Alliances See the pattern The ODA, RODA and NODA are three data aggregation and analysis programs currently offered by Elekta to help maximize the use of MOSAIQ oncology electronic medical record and METRIQ integrated oncology data management system. Participation in all Data Alliance programs is voluntary and confidential. The Data Alliances provide participants with opportunities to share outcomes data with other centers in exchange for powerful outcomes reporting options against a nationally recognized standard. Benchmarking Aggregated de-identified data is posted on-line allowing customers to produce on-demand reports. Bi-annual comparative reports are regularly provided to all customers. Patterns of Care Examine patient population and patient demographics. Compare chemotherapeutic drug usage across different sites for the same or different diagnoses. Data Quality and Completeness Provide the ability to monitor data quality with the EMR by showing changes in overall completeness within required fields. Utilize ondemand reporting to find missing data elements. Summary reports are sent out monthly to all members. Maximize EMR Use Learn how to most effectively utilize MOSAIQ electronic medical record by utilizing best practices and recommended standards approach to data entry. Data Security Data for all programs is transferred using a secure password protected file. Data is then stored on a secure server at Elekta headquarters with limited staff access. Participation is always confidential for all members in all of Elekta s data programs.
Oncology Data Alliances (ODA) A comprehensive data aggregation program for medical oncology and comprehensive EMR customers that focuses on maximizing use of the MOSAIQ EMR, return on investment, and data quality improvements. Since 2004, the ODA has offered participants the opportunity to obtain benchmark diagnosis and treatment analyses and offer comparative reports against other members. Currently there are more than 160 participating physicians. Radiation Oncology Data Alliances (RODA) An innovative data aggregation program for radiation oncology EMR customers utilizing MOSAIQ. The RODA also offers a program that focuses on data quality within the EMR and the opportunity to create comparative benchmarking reports. Established in 2008, the RODA has the ultimate goal of improving patient care through the analysis of aggregate patient data. In addition, Elekta is partnering with leading radiation oncology organizations in order to create the first ever radiation oncology data registry. By joining the ODA, our goals on a local level are to use the benchmarking results to improve our patient care, evaluate, analyze and standardize treatments for financial and clinical reasons. Comparing our data to the cancer research community will be of interest to ensure we're giving good quality care and using this information for our marketing programs." Michelle White, Program Manager Hinsdale Hematology Oncology Associates Ltd
National Oncology Data Alliances (NODA) The NODA is an extensive program offered to all our METRIQ cancer registry customers. Participants can request customer statistical analyses directly from Elekta. The NODA is one of the largest, longitudinal oncology databases in the world and features data on more than 2.4 million cases aggregated from hundreds of oncology treatment facilities nationwide. The NODA includes cases diagnosed since 1985 and provides one of the most up-todate resources on cancer incidence, treatment, and outcomes. Information specific to each treatment modality (radiation therapy, hormonal therapy, immunotherapy, chemotherapy), survival and recurrence data are included in the NODA. Why Data Alliances? Compare your center to others Have more confidence with your prescriptions by comparing against similar cases Manage your data more effectively Use and contribute to one of the largest, longitudinal oncology databases We use Elekta s National Oncology Data Alliance (NODA), for simplified access to cancer demographics. We find the NODA support staff to be very helpful in providing useful survival analyses that are based on comparative data, as well as offering lung cancer and breast cancer survival statistics on a routine basis. Diane Skinner CTR Cancer Data Coordinator Gibbs Regional Cancer Center
Transform data into powerful knowledge ANALYTIQ Data visualization software produces comparative reports for the ODA and RODA. ANALYTIQ offers an efficient means to analyze data; facilitating evidencebased decision making and promoting continual quality improvement. Backed by robust technology capable of handling actively expanding data, ANALYTIQ closes the loop on the data by providing valuable means of transitioning the information from raw data to knowledge. ANALYTIQ supports the visual analysis of complex data sets across a number of variables by combining multiple graphs into a single perspective. Précis-Central for Research Cancer data aggregation tool that unlocks and combines vast amounts of underused data. Created for university settings and healthcare networks, Précis-Central for Research can be used anywhere it is necessary to collect, aggregate and run preliminary analyses on clinical cancer data from multiple sources. This unique application enables the collection and aggregation of data in research and clinical settings, and then provides user-specific analysis tools. It promotes data integrity with industry-standard validation checks, probabilistic matching and advanced case consolidation.
A human care company, Elekta pioneers significant innovations and clinical solutions for treating cancer and brain disorders. Elekta provides intelligent and resource-efficient technologies that improve, prolong and save patient lives. We go beyond collaboration seeking long-term relationships built on trust with a shared vision, offering confidence to healthcare providers and their patients. Elekta is helping Radiation Oncologists maintain their lead in medicine as the most sophisticated and advanced clinical users of EMR systems. Leveraging the widespread use of MOSAIQ, Elekta is facilitating the creation of the first-ever universal EMR-registry program. Data from this could be used to perform quality monitoring, support rapid assessment of emerging technologies, aid clinical and administrative analyses, comparative effectiveness research and collection of political advocacy data.
