Mr. Slade will explain the need for this new model and will highlight how schools are a perfect setting for this collaboration. In addition, agency leaders will present a framework between learning and health. Joshua M. Attendees will also gain a better understanding of innovative approaches for treatment. A protocol to help potential victims will be presented. Training will also include video testimonies from victims of trafficking and law enforcement. The session will also discuss implementation guidelines for 504 plans, including plans for chronic illnesses and allergies. Leslie Margolis, Esq Managing Attorney Maryland Disability Law Center #2 - Trauma Informed Care for Youth and Families This workshop session will present trauma-informed interventions for early childhood. The presenter will share her expertise in collaborating with community agencies and engaging in discussions on child maltreatment and trauma-informed care. 3 #3 - Alternative Response in Child Welfare: Implications for Schools This workshop session will present an alternative response in child welfare, a new approach for managing low risk reports of child abuse and neglect. The presenter will discuss how to tailor the approach to best serve families.
