F all cases, the institution is responsible f justifying and documenting the qualifications of its faculty. While the general standard f the credentialing of faculty gives primary consideration to the highest earned degree in the discipline, alternate credentials may also be appropriate when the college has evidence-based reasons to utilize faculty with equivalent higher qualifications and documents them appropriately: a.
