1 PMRNC Member Benefits PMRNC began in 2001 with just a few pages and links to resources to help medical billers. Today we are one of the largest medical billing resource and networking organizations online! Our member s only area is made up of various resources for medical billers. We have resources for medical billing companies, consultants, and those just looking to stay up-to-date in a very fast-paced industry. This listing shows you the various sections and resources our member s only area has to offer PMRNC members. We offer much more than any other medical billing association for less money!
2 Networking Networking is extremely important in almost any service driven industry. PMRNC offers various networking opportunities, whether you are new to medical billing or want to stay-up-to date and network with other medical billing professionals! Social Networking: PMRNC has member only areas setup on both Facebook and LinkedIN. PMRNC members can come together and offer ideas, suggestions, ask questions or lend a helping hand to other medical billers or those looking to begin their medical billing career or business. Group PMRNC offers members only an group for those busy medical billers who don t have time for social media Our group is discussion based and you can choose to have s sent individually or receive a daily or weekly digest.
3 Mentoring PMRNC offers something a little different from other associations or organizations. We have a mentoring program where you can receive one-on-one mentoring sessions with a medical billing professional. Our team is made up of experienced medical billers and practice management consultants who are ready to help you with your career or business startup. Our mentoring program is for members only and does have additional costs. Members interested in our mentoring program will complete a profile questionnaire to be paired with a suitable mentor. We will also provide you with an analysis of cost and time needed.
4 Medical Billing Company Listings PMRNC has a separately marketed domain at This listing area was created back in 2001 and has a great ranking in the search engines. PMRNC members who own and operate a medical billing company receive a listing there for free. Medical billing companies, sub-contractors and consultants can advertise their services there as well. Your free listing includes your name, company name if applicable, address, phone/fax, link to website and/or social media pages as well as the option to allow us to send your resume to potential employers or clients. Members can submit their resume s to PMRNC, which we retain in our database and send out to physicians or healthcare providers looking for a medical biller or medical billing company. PMRNC has matched hundred s of medical providers to the right medical biller! Members can also add or update their listing at any time at no charge. Specialty Medical Billers If you are a medical biller with experience or exceptional knowledge about a particular specialty, our specialty medical billing listing area at may be the perfect match. At a very minimum cost annually, you can have your contact information published by specialty. Physicians and other healthcare providers will often look for medical billers by looking for someone experienced in their specialty. Like billingcenterlist.com, specialtybillers.com ranks high in the search engines and members can have their resumes given out to healthcare providers who request references for a medical biller within their specialty. A purchased listing receives a full listing that includes name, city/state, phone/fax, and any website or social media page links. You can also include a Resume available on request statement with your listing to let providers know that a resume is ready for them!
5 Medical Billing Education and Certification Certifications In addition to all of our resources, PMRNC also offers two certifications to help you succeed in finding that perfect job or add value to your medical billing business. C.H.R.S. Certified Healthcare Reimbursement Specialist C.H.I.S. Certified HIPAA information Specialist Our idea of certification is to TEACH you what you may not know! There are no additional study guides to purchase or any prerequisites. The certification exams were created for the already-educated medical biller wishing to test their knowledge and education in addition to adding value to their resume or marketing plan.
