2 Scope and Content Sheyenne River Academy (Harvey, North Dakota) (000008) Sheyenne River Academy in Harvey, North Dakota was owned and operated by the North Dakota Conference from 1903 to 1977 when it was replaced by Dakota Adventist Academy. For at least the first two years of operation, the school was known as Harvey Industrial School. This collection contains bulletins (variously called announcements and calendars) ranging from 1907 to Arrangement The arrangement of the collection has been done by the Union College Library Heritage Room. Provenance The bulletins were a gift from General Conference Archives in 1987 after the completed a microfilming project of all academy bulletins. Additional correspondence, minutes, and financial reports were given to Union College Library by the Walla Walla University library. These items may have originally belonged to John C. Harder, a former principal of Sheyenne River Academy. Use All users of this collection will complete the [Application to Use Unpublished Records], and observe the regulation specified in the [Patron s Agreement] and [Researcher s Code of Conduct]. All records in this collection are open and available for research.
