Fargo, North Dakota IT SECURITY ADMINISTRATOR Job Specification January 2016 PURPOSE OF POSTION: Prevent unauthorized access, use, disclosure, disruption, modification, or destruction of information resources. Use risk management to identify vulnerabilities and threats to information resources, and determine countermeasures which reduce risk to an acceptable level. Evaluate, recommend, implement, monitor, and maintain the administrative, technical, and physical controls to ensure confidentiality, integrity, and availability of information resources at Cass County Electric Cooperative. Promote a Culture of Information Security at Cass County Electric Cooperative. QUALIFICATIONS: Required Qualifications: Education: Associate s degree in an Information Technology related field from an accredited institution Preferred Qualifications: Skills and Experience: You will be an Ideal candidate if you have these qualifications. Preference will be given for any of the following skills and/or experience: Experience or training with a strong understanding of the following: o Network protocols, such as TCP/IP o Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) model o Secure network infrastructure design, including telephony o Secure network routing and switch configuration o Secure Windows Server configuration o Active Directory and Group Policy administration o PowerShell and command line network commands Ability to: o maintain confidentiality o work collaboratively to accomplish goals as a member of a team o self-start and manage duties as assigned on an independent basis Good communication skills
