1 Richmond Park Academy Job description Job Title: Job Purpose: Accountable to: Finance & School Trips Assistant Responsibility for the provision of administrative support to the Finance Office and to assist with all aspects of the administration of school trips. School Business Manager (SBM) General Responsibilities Handle the delivery of all stationery and other packages received at the school. Will include opening/checking and arranging delivery to correct department, filing subsequent return of paperwork. Opening and sorting of daily post received into the finance office. Responsible for the weekly agreement of and banking for monies received into the Private Fund. Inputting invoices received for payment in a timely manner. Ensuring relevant authorisation, return and collation for BACS processing. Assist with counting, reconciling, inputting and banking of school income. Assisting with issuance of and inputting of monthly petty cash. Assisting with the monthly reconciliations of various items (including credit card, bank reconciliations, photo copier charges etc.). Monitoring of school finance and trips s and action requests as required. Weekly and adhoc synchronisation of school databases. Inputting of lunch allowance payments as required. Reconciliation and monitoring of funds received into Parent Pay system for trips and other activities. To include creating journals to credit the correct nominal codes accordingly.

2 Maintaining databases for school trips and monitoring return of documentation from parents for trips. Liaising with trip leaders concerning costings/booking of travel/tickets and venues for school trips. Administering lunch cards for pupils who opt out of the fingertip registration, and for visitors and supply teachers on a daily basis, including returning any unspent balance at the end of the day, in exchange for the return of the card. Assist with administering the Bursary Fund, and maintaining monthly payment records for their Chromebooks. Liaising with the student Council with regard to fundraising, yearbook production and the annual prom. The administration of the Student Funds (Unofficial) account. Keeping up to date computer and paper records of expenditure and income. Processing cheques and collating and filing all paperwork. Reconciling bank records. To undertake any other duties as required by the wider Finance team/sbm and a willingness to be flexible and adaptable in this busy environment. Hours: 36 hours per week, 40 weeks per annum (38 weeks school term time, 1 week INSET training and 1 week during school holiday) Salary Scale: Scale (Actual salary 16,851) Annual Leave: No annual leave is to be taken in term time Signed: Date:
