3 Simple planning and modular design SiPass integrated is based on a completely modular design. It comprises basic elements of hardware and software, which can be flexibly adapted and expanded to meet changing requirements. The options for using SiPass integrated are almost unlimited. This is apparent from the large number of monitored doors, the half a million people who are equipped with ID cards for each controller and from the local and global networking capabilities (LAN, WAN und PSTN). Integration of Siemens CCTV technology SiPass integrated has an integrated solution for Siemens CCTV technology. It enables the connection of both analog and digital CCTV products, such as SIMATRIX or SISTORE AX. Seamless integration in existing business and security processes SiPass integrated is easy to integrate in an existing TCP/IP network. Additional systems can be connected using standard interfaces or I/O modules. These might be video monitoring systems with products from Siemens. But the options are not limited to this, because SiPass integrated integrates just as well with CCTV products from other companies. Optimal user-friendliness SiPass integrated has a Windows XP certified graphical interface. It s intuitive operation pays off in more than just alarm situations. The user interface, like the system as a whole, can of course be adapted to individual requirements. The standardized alarm management system allows up to 1000 alarm classes to be configured. To facilitate faster handling, the alarms are displayed and highlighted graphically according to priority, in some cases with CCTV integration. Customer-specific alarm instructions support security personnel, who can be notified of an alarm via or SMS if they are not on site. Of course, SiPass integrated also includes a report generator for fast identification and evaluation of system events. Highest degree of security and system availability SiPass integrated ensures high system availability and even provides full functionality if the connection to the server has been interrupted. In this case, the intelligent controllers communicate directly with one another (peer-to-peer). Automatic backup and restoration of the system database protects the integrity of the system. Secure data transmission throughout the entire transmission path from the ID card to the server provides a consistently high level of security. Long-term investment protection and lasting cost reduction potential This ensures existing installations and systems do not simply lose their value, as they can be migrated simply to the new infrastructure. Previously installed third-party readers and an existing identification system can be incorporated in the SiPass integrated system. 3

Scenarios include entry only (two door operation), entry and exit (single door operation) or also the control of elevators. Rooms with a higher security risk can be secured with a biometric solution and the use of CCTV technology. Migration. Previously installed SiPass standalone or SiPass networked solutions can be easily expanded in stages all the way up to SiPass integrated. 5 Global reach. Various networking options (LAN/WAN/PSTN) enable the system to be expanded to include a number of buildings and locations. The connection to individual locations can be secured by redundant communication pathways that are activated automatically if the main connection fails. 6 Satisfaction of all your technical requirements Fingerprint reader Contactless card reader and biometric fingerprint reader SiPass integrated allows various card readers to be used. This includes the award winning card readers in the square and mullion design. The card readers support both 125 khz proximity technology as well as the MHz proximity/vicinity technology. Furthermore, the Wiegand interface enables numerous thirdparty card readers to be connected to SiPass integrated. Multiple companies one system SiPass integrated includes tenancy functionality. That means that a number of companies can use the same access control system completely independently of one another. The system can be programmed to respond as needed, providing the system operator with corresponding flexibility. SiPass integrated distinguishes between controller-based and server-based event procedures. Controller-based event tasks (interaction at the controller level). If the first person enters the office in the morning, the ID card of that person is recorded by the entry reader. SiPass integrated then sends a signal to another system, such as the heating, air conditioning or lighting system, to set it appropriately. In this case, communication takes place via the controller, not the server. Server-based event tasks (interaction at the server level) If, for example, an error is logged at a door in a sensitive zone or a break-in attempt is detected, the system issues a start signal via the server for a DVR recording. This recording can be shown directly in SiPass integrated. Contactless card readers Personalization reader All levels of the system are capable of handling client groups. Existing installations can be integrated without difficulty, and the use of different card technologies is not a problem. More applications for an access card SiPass integrated enables Mifare multifunction cards to be written and Mifare keys to be administered. Writing can be done with the personalization reader or using an ID card printer. Thus it is possible to use the same access card for several applications such as cashless payment. Peer-to-peer communication Communication between the controllers takes place independently of the SiPass server. Thus, for example, global anti-passback takes place without server support supported entirely by controllers. Security for your system From the ID card to the server and client, all data can be transmitted securely. This is ensured, for example, by encryption with AES (Advanced Encryption Standard) between the server and controller or by the VPN between the server and client.
