3 So, what do we do? We reckon you ve used our technology before! IPL may not be a household name (yet), but we guarantee you ve heard of our clients and we re sure you ve used the technology we ve built. It s pretty hard not to have done, you just didn t realise we were behind it! So what do we do? (Or should that read: what don t we do!) For starters, have you ever banked online? Well we ve just delivered an award-winning online and mobile bank. Who for? Only the world s largest building society, Nationwide, and its five million UK customers. Use a mobile? We developed (and now support) the software that drives the UK s largest mobile network. Guessed who they are yet? Yep, a rather large company called Orange part of EE and its 27 million UK customers. Do you drive? You re sure to have seen those overhead signs on the motorway that tell you to slow down because there s traffic ahead or an incident has occurred. We designed the system behind those signs for the Highways Agency, to help keep everyone in the UK safe and on the move. And that s just the tip of the iceberg...

4 What the role involves By understanding the full spectrum of what we do, you ll become a truly valuable and great software engineer. So as well as being an integral part of our technical team, you ll be encouraged to work closely with our sales team and business consultants, to ensure you become the very best all-round software engineer. Over time, you ll be able to specialise in your favourite area. How about one of the following? Application design and development Project management and leadership Business and technical consultancy Managed Services Research and Development Business Analysis Who are we looking for? People with passion. We only employ the most talented, qualified and experienced graduates, all of whom exhibit professionalism, consistency and integrity in everything they do. Technical degree in computing, mathematics, science(s) or engineering (minimum grade 2:1) 3 A-Levels, grades A and B (300 UCAS points) or equivalent A flair for solving complex technical issues An interest in bridging the gap between technology and business Excellent communications, proven team-working ability and interpersonal skills Self-motivation and ability to work on your own initiative Oh and we love interesting people so tell us about your passions and adventures!
