From 01 Sept 2012 Lemon Law provisions will be added to Consumer Protection (Fair Trading Act) with related to amendments to HIRE PURCHASE ACT and Road Traffic Act Road traffic act will be amended to allow transfer of COE from the defective vehicle to a replacement vehicle and ARF to be set off against the ARF of replacement vehicle.
