21 Who Are We? PGA of America is the world s largest working sports organization, comprised of 28,000 men and women Golf Professionals who are the recognized experts in growing, teaching and managing the game of golf, while serving millions of people throughout its 41 PGA Sections nationwide.

22 Mission Statement The mission of The PGA of America is to promote the enjoyment and involvement of the game of golf and to contribute to its growth by providing services to golf professionals, consumers and the golf industry.

23 In support of the PGA mission statement, we manage a shared services center at the corporate level Our clients are the 41 PGA sections throughout the United States. The sections are provided accounting services, including financial statement, tax preparation and payroll services.

24 Third party reporting tool was used to create custom reports. Hierarchies were never defined in Oracle and Financial Statement Generator was never used in because we needed to produce Board Certified financial statements Past Reporting Challenges Each PGA Section operates on a separate set of books, now called Ledgers in Fusion. Many of the sections have different accounting calendars, however, all share the same chart of accounts and are represented in one currency USD.
