6 HOW IT WORKS The MobileCloud platform provides mobile testers with immediate access to hundreds of devices located anywhere in the world shared devices via the Public MobileCloud or secure dedicated devices via the Private MobileCloud. This is a 100% web-based SAAS with no software installation required. The MobileCloud is accessed via a secure login from any browser. In addition, users of popular ALM software, such as HP's UFT (QTP), can login directly from within this tool. All mobile devices are fully functional, and are connected to real cellular networks and with data access via the internet (3G/4G and WiFi). The devices are connected to the MobileCloud Manager (MCM) through their data port using either their native protocols or a tiny client on the device itself. All application types are supported: native, hybrid, browser based, SMS & voice-based services and pre-installed (part of the device). MobileCloud supports more than 150 different device families, ranging from the latest smartphones (e.g., Android and ios) through all market segment and low-cost Perfecto Mobile 6

Perfecto Mobile constantly updates this list in accordance with market trends and customer requests. Users of the public MobileCloud enjoy access to a variety of devices that best represent the market. Usage is shared among all users. A sophisticated reservation system lets users define their needs in advance and reserve devices for a specific time slot. The public MobileCloud also allows on-demand access to thousands of additional devices which are not considered the top 100 but still might be required for your needs. The public cloud offering is ideal for an application or mobile service which is already exposed to the market and requires continuous testing on market devices. It is also applicable for customers who do not have strict security segregation requirements and are flexible in terms of availability. 11 DEVICE MANAGEMENT At any given moment, the system allows only a single user to use an allocated device. It is possible to reserve a device for future use. Users can decide to share device usage with additional users located anywhere in the world. For maintaining the security requirements, devices might be cleaned explicitly by the user or automatically upon device release. For our hosted devices, Perfecto s central NOC also monitor the devices status ensuring highest availability and providing real-time alerting on device issues allowing us to provide service level on device availability.
