ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA 1.6 OEM Certification& Undertaking Copy of the OEM s Certification authorizing the Vendor as local partner/representative in India for the supply, installation and Commissioning of items indicated in the Tender Documents must be enclosed. OEM involving with major component of Rackserver for the HPC solution should have expertise and directly involve during deployment of proposed HPC solution & during warranty/amc period. In this regard an undertaking should be produced by the OEM for only one Authorized Bidder/SI/Vendor. Further, the OEM should give undertaking for product support for five years after completion of warranty period directly or through their authorized dealers/vendors. 1

BID PREPARATION AND SUBMISSION TECHNICAL BID (ENVELOPE A) The Technical Bid format as given in the Tender shall be filled / typed, signed and stamped on all pages. Any alterations, deletions or overwriting shall be attested with full signature of the authorised signatory. The Technical Bid shall not contain any indications of the Price. The Bid will be summarily rejected, if there is any indication of price in the Technical Bid. The Technical Bid with all the supporting documents must be arranged in the order of requirment.the EMD should then be put in a separate cover and sealed appropriately. The Technical Bid cover should be superscribed as Technical Bid (Envelope-A) for Supply, Installation and Commissioning of HPC Hybrid System, Tender No.AU/CPC-RCC/HPC/ due on at 1.00 p.m. The FROM address and TO Address should be clearly written in the cover otherwise the Bid is liable for rejection. PRICE BID (ENVELOPE B) The Price of all the items as asked in the Tender should be filled in the Price Bid format as giiven in the Tender. The Bid is liable for rejection if Price Bid format is different, Price Bid contains conditional offers partial offers. The Price Bid shall be typed, signed and stamped in all pages by the authorised signatory of the Bidder. Any alterations, deletions or overwriting shall be attested with full signature of the authorised signatory. The Price Bid shall be put in a separate cover (Envelope-B) and sealed appropriately. The outer cover shall be superscribed as Supply, Installation and Commissioning of HPC Hybrid System Tender No: AU/CPC-RCC/HPC/ due on at 1.00 p.m.. Original tender document page no: TECHNICAL BENCHMARK b) The bidders/oem have to run GROMACS Application CPU benchmarks on at- leasttwo nodes (40 CPU Cores or higher, with turbo-mode OFF, using MPI only) in the quoted models only and technical benchmark results should be submitted in the prescribed format along withthe technical bid. Specifications of Server Model / processors / Memory / Inifiniband used for running the benchmark should be same as quoted in the tender document. Original tender document page no: 11 8.TECHNICAL BENCHMARK RESULTS TECHNICAL BENCHMARK RESULTS Format for submission of Technical Application Benchmark Results (This document should be submitted along with the technical bid) GROMACS Application CPU benchmarks should be done on at-least 2 nodes (40 Cores and higher) of the quoted modelsand can be scaled-up accordingly. Specifications of Server Model / processors / Memory / Inifiniband used for running the benchmark should be same as quoted in the tender document. The benchmark results should be submitted in the following format: 1) OEM Server Model and Details: (Specify in detail) 2) Arguments and details of GROMACS Compilation: (Specify in detail) 3) Output of stderr.txt File: (Display at least First 25 lines and Last 25 lines of the file) 4) Output of stderr.txt File: (Display at least First 25 lines and Last 25 lines of the file) 5) Output of md.log File: (Display at least First 25 lines and Last 25 lines of the file) 3

Delivery Period: The delivery by the bidder at should be made within 6-8 weeks from the date of receipt of purchase order at CBT, Anna Univerisity (Taramani Campus) 15. a) The quote for components in S.No.1 to S. No.5 should be in USD and the quote for components in S.No.6.should be in INR. b) Quote should be inclusive of CIF, Chennai (Taramani campus), Required Customs Duty Exemption certificatefor clearance will be provided by the university. 16. a) Payment will be made though LC for components in S.No.1 to S. No.5 by 80% against successful delivery at site and 20% against successful commissioning and training at the Anna Univerisity site (Taramani campus). b) 100% Payment will be made through INR for components in S.No.6 against successful, installation, commissioning and training at the Anna Univerisity(Taramani campus).
