2 About AAMFT The American Association for Marriage and Family Therapy (AAMFT) is the professional association for the field of marriage and family therapy with over 26,000 members. Founded in 1942, we represent the professional interests of marriage and family therapists and other mental health professionals legally authorized to independently treat couples, and families throughout the United States, Canada, and 53 other countries. Marriage and family therapists treat, research, and teach about a wide range of issues that affect their clients. Some of the top therapy issues we receive inquiries about are infidelity, LGBTQ youth and couples, adoption, stepfamilies, and children dealing with divorce. AAMFT leads the way to increasing understanding, research, and education in the field and ensuring the public s needs are met by trained practitioners. Advanced Clinical Institutes Advertising The AAMFT Institutes for Advanced Clinical Education is a five day intensive training with approximately 200 attendees. 7 Terms and Conditions Advertising Policy AAMFT reserves the right to reject or cancel advertising in its publications for any reason at any time. AAMFT complies with the provision of applicable federal laws prohibiting discrimination. AAMFT will not accept advertising that appears to be libelous, slanderous, sexually explicit, or in conflict with AAMFT policies. AAMFT also reserves the right to reject any ad that it perceives as competing with AAMFT products or events. Please check your selections before submitting this form. This order form does not guarantee your ad placement. Please keep a copy of this order form for your records. Payments for Ads All ads must be PREPAID by the 1st of the month prior to publication. Checks, Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or money orders are all acceptable forms of payment (US currency). Payment for any additional costs incurred by AAMFT must be paid 15 days from the invoice date. AAMFT reserves the right to refuse any new order from delinquent agencies or advertisers. Copy and Contract Policy By submitting advertising for inclusion in Family Therapy Magazine, the advertiser or agency agrees to be bound by the terms hereof. No conditions other than those set forth herein shall be binding on AAMFT unless specifically agreed to in writing by AAMFT. This document supersedes all terms and conditions on AAMFT rate cards, and any previous agreements between AAMFT and advertiser or agency relating to the subject matter set forth herein. AAMFT s only obligation to publish advertisements hereunder shall be to serve advertisements of the advertiser described herein, and in no event shall AAMFT be obligated to serve advertisements for any other advertiser. AAMFT will not be bound by conditions printed or appearing on order blanks or copy instructions submitted by or on behalf of the advertiser or agency. Acceptance of advertising for Family Therapy Magazine should not be construed as any type of endorsement by AAMFT, or any of its members or accredited standards developers or third-party organizations (unless otherwise noted), of the advertisement, the advertiser or the advertiser s organization, system, product or service. AAMFT, its members or accredited standards developers or third-party organization expressly disavow any such implied endorsement. The advertiser understands that permission to advertise in Family Therapy Magazine shall not in itself be used to market or promote the advertiser or the advertiser s organization, product, system or service. Advertisers and advertising agencies assume liability for all content of advertisements printed, and assume liability for any claims resulting from advertisements against the publisher.
