6 EDITOR S NOTES The articles in this issue are selections from the many presented at the third joint meeting of the Wesleyan Theological Society and the Society for Pentecostal Studies, convened at Duke University Divinity School in March, The overall theme was Pentecostal and Wesleyan Explorations of Science and Creation. This issue s lead pieces are by Jürgen Moltmann and Randy Maddox. They were keynotes of this significant academic gathering. Among the special recognitions given by the WTS on this occasion (all available on the Society s web site) was its Lifetime Achievement Award given to Rob L. Staples. It is featured here, as is the WTS presidential address that was delivered by Diane Leclerc. Whatever information is needed about the Wesleyan Theological Society is readily available herein.
