Use an integrated surgical record to schedule procedures, manage pre-, intraand post-op care. The comprehensive SurgiNet solution helps you share patient information across your organization. SurgiNet is integrated with Clinical Supply Chain Management, which allows your organization to electronically generate preference cards and pick lists, and manage inventory as a by-product of clinical care. Operational Dashboard views of real-time and historical data allow your organization to impact and manage your surgery department for optimal throughput and workflow. Graphical views of key performance measures provide insight to opportunities for maximizing operational efficiency. 4 Anesthesia Management SurgiNet Anesthesia Management allows you to manage the anesthesia workflow while documenting physiological parameters and medication administration. Features such as device integration, intuitive real-time documentation resources and immediate access to patient records support you as you provide the highest quality of care. Anesthesia Management gives you access to review past medical history and current medications while documenting the anesthesia plan. Providers receive adverse drug reaction alerts when documenting medications. Because it operates on the unified Cerner Millennium architecture, Anesthesia Management unifies anesthesia care with related nursing documentation. SurgiNet Anesthesia Management also shares information with other Cerner Millennium applications. Care providers can easily access and contribute to an EHR, supporting consistent, informed care throughout a patient s stay. 5 Tissue and Implant Management - coming soon Cerner Tissue and Implant Management provides the ability to track tissue and manage implants through each step in the workflow process. The solution is designed to meet Unique Device Identification (UDI) requirements and provides a chain of custody approach for the management of tissues and surgical implants. Additionally, Cerner Tissue and Implant Management supports the documentation of critical information required to assist with compliance, and barcode technology is used to help improve documentation efficiency. The solution enables identification of soon-to-expire tissues and device implants and supports the management of product recalls. Integration with SurgiNet and Cerner Clinical Supply Chain Management helps produce efficient documentation and inventory management. 6 PowerChart Gastroenterology Cerner PowerChart Gastroenterology incorporates workflow, content and imaging capabilities designed specifically for the GI endoscopy. Hospitals and Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs) can achieve greater patient engagement, improved health outcomes and increase overall workflow efficiency with a solution that integrates the physician s entire procedural workflow with the EHR. With PowerChart Gastroenterology, procedure reports are not merely scanned or interfaced with EHR, instead reports are actionable clinical documents, created as part of the health record. Structured documentation content is designed to be efficient, flexible and compliant with GI society guidelines and quality improvement registries. Patient information can be accessed from a single system. Images captured during procedures are automatically associated with the appropriate patient record and archived in full resolution once the case is complete. The solution also supports more efficient use of the recovery care team s time by providing comprehensive, customizable patient education information in a single printout. 7 Surgical and Endoscopic Imaging Cerner has partnered with industry leaders to integrate the pictures and videos from surgery, gastroenterology, pulmonology and otolaryngology procedures with the EHR. Cerner Surgical and Endoscopic Imaging is a vendor agnostic media capture solution that integrates devices such as endoscope CCUs and OR integration systems with the EHR. With Surgical and Endoscopic Imaging, physicians don t need to click, save, print or carry anything out of the procedure area - pictures are automatically saved in the patient record in PowerChart and are instantly available after the procedure. 8 Ambulatory Surgery Centers Cerner Ambulatory Surgery Center is a complete solution package designed to meet the unique needs of freestanding ASCs, inclusive of business solutions, clinical documentation and Clinical Supply Chain Management. An easy-to-use, drag-and-drop appointment book allows you to manage multiple resource scheduling. Conflict checking is instantaneous and remote scheduling is available. Standard documentation is designed to meet current and future documentation requirements and AORN SYNTEGRITY content is embedded. Designed on the unified Cerner Millennium architecture, Cerner Ambulatory Surgery Center, provides real-time access to patient information. The solution shares common data elements among PAT, pre-op, intraoperative and PACU documentation.
