For example, for the University of Iowa, University of Northern Iowa and Iowa State University, the census date is the 10th day of classes. The public community colleges use the 14th day of classes for their census date. Adjusted Enrollment is calculated by adding the number of Full Time to the number of Part Time Semester Credit Hours divided by the institution's FTE value. (For most institutions the FTE value is 12 semester credit hours for undergraduates, and 9 semester credit hours for graduate and professional.)
