2 Introducing the Internet Marketing Business Builder Program You Can't Afford Not To Be Findable In Today's Market Small businesses should understand that the Internet is replacing the Yellow Pages. And just like the good ol' days of the Yellow Pages, when a customer starts searching they are usually ready to buy. With the internet the buying process is often made up of two phases. Phase one is where the customer researches the product or service itself. This search may include sites from around the world. Phase two is when the customer feels that they have enough information to make an informed decision, and search locally to find where they can make their final decision and purchase. Will They Be Able To Find You? If your local business doesn't have an internet presence as part of your advertising strategy then you probably can't be found in the place where 80% of potential local customers start their search for your product or service. It is particularly important to have local search presence when the customers begin phase two of the buying process. Your Customers Expect You to be On The Internet Whether you are a real estate agency, plumber, dentist, lawyer, contractor, it doesn't matter, if you can't be found on the internet you are losing business. Even if you have a website, if it isn't being promoted, it's like putting up a billboard in the desert. It still means no customers. Does Your Current Internet Advertising Convert Visitors Into Customers? Being found in searches is only half the story. If you are in business to make money then your internet presence should have a sole purpose: Convert visitors into customers! Geographically Targeted Searches for Local Business Is your local business competing with national companies for front page of the search engines? That is a losing proposition. Bullet points are a good way to show your product or service highlights. What business address would you like listed in your marketing? What phone number to be published on internet marketing? Is this phone number answered by a live person? Would you like a fax number to be published in marketing campaign?

5 Are you providing a logo to be part of your internet marketing campaign? Are you providing any digital images to be part of your internet marketing campaign? Do you have a coupon or discount to part of your campaign? Can you provide any customer testimonials to part of your campaign? Who is your target audience? Please list if you have a primary, secondary, etc What key phrases would your target audience be using when looking for your product or service?

6 Who are your main competitors? What is your most profitable product or service? Do you currently have a website? What is the address? What is the average ticket amount for each customer? How many customers do you average per month? What forms of advertising are you currently using? What do you feel is working best?
