The AIR-FLOW handpiece can also be used on the subgingival border area. AIR-FLOW PERIO POWDER When used with the PERIO-FLOW nozzle, the AIR-FLOW PERIO powder s extra-fine grains remove harmful biofilm and bacteria subgingivally. Made from glycine rather than sodium bicarbonate, AIR-FLOW PERIO powder is gentle on the tooth surface, making the air polishing experience more comfortable for the patient during supragingival procedures as well.
