2 TIME REPORTING Time Reporting is a simple and effective Web-based or client server timesheet system designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of project and resource activity across your enterprise. Update Your Timesheets Anytime, Anywhere Time Reporting allows office-based users and remote users (via Internet or intranet) to access, edit, approve and update their timesheets from across the hall or around the world you can even add unscheduled work. Weekly timesheet Using an intuitive browser- or Windows - based interface, Time Reporting provides timely and accurate activity management information, thereby offering increased visibility of project, resource and schedule performance. Designed for project staff, resource managers and project managers, Time Reporting also enables authorized users to consolidate and report information in a meaningful and organized manner. Further, Time Reporting security functions allow scheduled activities and weekly timesheet data to be reviewed and updated from your local workstation and mobile device (ipad) using either Advanced Planning or Advanced MSP Planning. That means you can update the Time Reporting database through your company s Web server around the clock as well as provide input for existing billing, financial and human resources systems. 3 TIME REPORTING USER MODULE Managers can set realistic project goals by identifying key resources and activities, updating project performance and assessing an accurate view of staff progress and performance. The activity tracking capability within Time Reporting offers an effective means by which managers can understand where resources are being assigned, determine the level of project and resource efficiency, and ensure that expended effort is aligned with overall business objectives. The system also enables validation against user-defined business rules. Time Reporting User Module Whether connected to the database server or Web server, Time Reporting users have access to current timesheet and activity data via a consistent interface. Further, users can customize the data displayed on their timesheet to include individual requirements from project name and description, activity name and description, day of the week, status and estimated time to completion. Time Reporting can also be customized to include Web page links specific to a company s working environment. A single right-click in the timesheet window allows you to select links from a defined list.
