32 Ineligible Activities: Projects which are NOT ELIGIBLE for GIGP funding include: Stormwater controls that have impervious or semi- impervious liners and provide no compensatory evapotranspiraave or harvesang funcaon for stormwater retenaon Stormwater ponds that serve an extended detenaon funcaon and/or extended filtraaon, including dirt- lined detenaon basins In- line and end- of- pipe treatment systems that only filter or detain stormwater Underground stormwater control and treatment devices such as swirl concentrators, hydrodynamic separators, baffle systems for grit, trash removal/floatables, oil and grease, inflatable booms and dams for in- line underground storage and diversion of flows Stormwater conveyance systems that are not soil/vegetaaon based (swales) such as pipes and concrete channels Hardening, channelizing or straightening streams and/or stream banks Street sweepers, sewer cleaners, and vactor trucks

33 Ineligible Activities: Projects which are NOT ELIGIBLE for GIGP funding include: Asbestos abatement AmeniAes i.e. bus shelters, benches, light poles, traffic devices, etc. Potable water irrigaaon systems Green infrastructure pracaces which are being implemented to comply with the requirements of the New York State Department of Environmental ConservaAon SPDES General Permit for Stormwater Discharges from ConstrucAon AcAvity Permit No. GP ( Permit ). (Note pracaces which are over and above Permit requirements will be considered for funding) Wetlands construcaon or restoraaon required as compensaaon (miagaaon) for adverse impacts to wetlands or other environmental damage caused through construcaon acaviaes. This ineligible category includes both Adal and freshwater wetland miagaaon projects.

34 Program Details: EFC will execute a Grant Agreement with the recipient upon receipt and approval of required documentaaon A sample project checklist is provided on EFC s website in the GIGP recipient s toolbox Recipient must submit executed copies of contracts All contracts funded by GIGP must comply with MWBE EEO Program requirements Comply with applicable prevailing wage requirements under ArAcle 8 of the NYS Labor Law

35 Program Details: Disbursements: EFC will process requests for funding on a cost incurred or reimbursement basis Complete requests are processed within 30 days and funds are wired to recipient Recipients are required to provide proof of payment within 45 days
